I can't imagine they wouldn't show the baby - and also can't imagine that with their emphasis on traditionality, they would do it by awkwardly holding up the baby's carseat. I think they'll go for a re-do of the Charles & Diana shot of bringing William out.

I'm hearing they are going to come out with the baby just like Charles and Diana then go back in and put him in the carseat and then get in the car.

That makes sense.
Also, if the baby is in a carseat then William can't make a spur-of-the-moment decision to hold him up a la "The Lion King".
I am watching E! now. Thanks for the heads up on it being there. I keep putting off going to the bathroom because I know that is the second it will happen

DID YOU KNOW that at one time they used to have the UK Home Secretary witness the actual birth so as to ensure that the royal heir was in fact birthed live and another baby wasn't substituted? The tradition ended in the '30s.
Anyone else surprised by the amount of traffic on the street outside those doors? Bikers, cars, mopeds... I would have thought they'd have the street blocked off for security/media reasons.

I heard that they now do a DNA test at birth to make sure nobody switched babies and the baby is actually of royal blood. I'm not sure how true that is but it sounds kind of logical.
