I don't think it is "weird" to fly for a gtg nor do I think it is very nice to insinuate that it is "weird" when people have already bought tickets for an upcoming gtg.
I don't like flying or driving with Matilda but I'd take a short flight over a long drive any day if they were both the same price!

Dude, don't put words in my mouth- I NEVER said weird or insinuated anything...sooo I don't appreciate saying I'm not nice for insinuating something I didn't. If you read what I wrote, I said that I personally couldn't imagine doing something because of my fear of flying.

Meh maybe I read too much into it. Just seemed like an attitude of "to actually FLY to a gtg is a bit ott" but obviously I must have read it wrong.
I just feel like if I had purchased a ticket to go to the gtg (I wish!) I would be annoyed by this thread.
