I think I've missed everything this week between school starting and helping to care for H.

So, recap the UO, FFFC, and anything else that was good.

tracking is a good idea. No it's not. Teachers are awesome. Except the ones that aren't. But most are, no one's knocking teachers.

mixed reviews on gifted and talented programs (although if you call it GATE you MUST enunciate over the loudspeaker!), but we're tired of parents all thinking their child can't be average.

Grape jelly is awesome (no it's not, but this is just me)

Having your coffee and pumpkin stuff messed up in the morning ruins the whole day.

School lunches. All about school lunches. They're high in calories. Who cares. They need to be healthier. They're fine. No, they're gross. Why don't more kids pack lunch anymore? The value of using accounts instead of actual money.

Something about a penis being on TrudyCampbell's V's shirt (it's an umbrella)

Keeping food from kids won't teach them to make healthy choices. Yes it will. Sneaking food and if it's "normal." We need to stop putting our food issues on our kids.

Fast food workers don't need to make $15 an hour. No, but they need to make more than minimum wage. But asking for 15 makes them look bad. People in fast food still deserve a decent wage. So do daycare workers.

And finally and most importantly: Military servicemen and women REALLY need to get paid more.
