I've run into anti-toy people. I think it's more of a self conscious/bad in bed/can't get a woman off and blame it on the toys type of thing. You can tell that man (if you ever see him again) that clitoral vibrators work a completely different place and organ than a penis does during vaginal intercourse. External vibrators have nothing to do with orgasming, or failure to do so, during intercourse. He's an idiot.
Basically translated: Will I do a better job than the toy? Will I be able to get her off? I have no confidence and need to hide behind some other reason.
Luckily, I have not slept with anyone who has this mindset. But it's extremely sad when you meet someone who's like this. What did you say to this guy once he told you he's anti-toy?
Sounds like this guy had a bad experience or like others have pointed out has no confidence in himself and is intimidated by the toys. Either way I am picturing him as some dude that just walked out of the year 1925.
For me it has always depended on the woman I am with. With T we have only incorporated her vibe a handful of times. There are other things we like to do that bring up the kink level. With previous FWB right before meeting T we used toys at least 50% of the time....she had all sorts of gadgets..lol.
My exh was VERY against toys. He threw mine out and picked on me continuously through our relationship about having toys. He said I was pathetic and couldn't find anyone to have sex with so I needed toys. It was aweful.
This just made me think that I haven't mentioned anything about toys with my current guy. Oh man...it's probably because of my terrible experience with xh! Shit! What should I do?
The only legit complaint I've rec'd from a guy when using a vibe is that the vibrations made him too excited too soon. Since we were LDR, I just put off using it after we'd had a few good romps and sensitivity was less of an issue.
I have never used one during sex. I guess that should be an UO!
Not an UO unless you think there is something wrong with it.
Do you?
Toys are the devil and all women that use them are whores!!! lol
Nah, I have just never used them but I have only had 1 toy in my entire life. I guess they are not as easily purchased here than in the US and they are much much more expensive.
I always think of ordering one on the mail whenever I go to the US but since I get everything sent to my ex's place, I don't want to risk him seeing it.

Just an FYI, if he doesn't actually open your boxes, you can buy from drugstore.com or amazon or other places that would leave no clue based on the return address. Even some of the sex shop specific sites will mask the return address.

I know but here is the thing. I usually ask him to open my boxes so I am sure that everything got delivered. I will have to tell him, I am getting a box from Amazon that you cannot open! That will be awkward but totally worth it.
No, I've never encountered a guy like this. I'd be pretty turned off by anyone who felt that they knew better than I did what should or shouldn't work to get me off.
Any dude should be over the moon excited to be in even the same room as you and your vibrator, mp. If not, then that's his problem not yours.
This is what I was thinking, that there is something arrogant and kind of misogynistic about a guy who thinks he knows the "right" way for you to enjoy sex. Mansplaining how your fun bits should work? Please. What a chode.

I've known a very conservative guy who wasn't vehemently opposed but definitely tried to avoid the topic. The whole pre-marital sex thing was already a big issue for him, and the idea of toys pushed him beyond his limit of heathen-ness. I think he kind of associated toys with perversion. Not saying I agree, but I can understand where that impression came from since a lot of sex shops are kind of porn-heavy. My neck of the woods definitely didn't see the "classy" toy shop trend until recently.
I dated a Hard cor Cristhan who was against toys and porn. He was prob the best luvah I had tho and also a former dancer. Hypocrite. The relationship did not last long.
When I was pregnant my sister actually bought me my first ever vibrator bc I told her how horny I was all the time and my exH was gone all the time snowmobiling. He got so pissed and wrote me this big long email abou how upset he was that I was using this and that it wasn't right. He was acting like I was cheating on him with this vibrator. I mean this email was loooong. It was pretty comical actually.
