Hmm. I'll probably sub chicken shrimp for the clams. I'm going to have to get something else to go with the edamame hummus wraps. No way those will fill up DH. Any ideas?
Also, what is an Italian zucchini? How is it different from a regular zucchini?
No way I'm finding clams around here. It's not bivalve season. Too hot. Also, flank steak is impossible to find (which I hate because we love fajita)
Can you find skirt steak? That is what we make fajitas out of. They sell it pre-packaged at our stores. You can also try flat iron steak. Also don't you live in a place that SHOULD have fajita meat.
Just signed up for Fresh 20 today. The recipes look great, and I'm really hoping it'll help keep our food costs down. DH and I do way too much shopping while we're hungry.

Update: The clams truck come tomorrow, so i got chicken instead. Also my Harris Teeter was totally out of zucchini. Are all the 20 something's in Arlington doing Fresh 20?? Bought yellow squash instead.
I'm all excited. This menu inspired me to pull out the food processor I got as a wedding gift ages ago. I've never had a chimichurri sauce before. No clue if it came out right. Thank goodness for google. At least it *looks* right.

Omigosh you guys the chimmichurri was sooo good. The "crust" burnt but was even better that way. I added more chimmichurri to the veggies and added more salt. Pinto beans were just ok but probably would have been better from dry beans rather than out of a can. Saved half of my raw flank steak. I think I will marinate in the remaining chimmichurri and will cook it up on fajitas night.
DH looooves BBQ and it's not my favorite, but I'm doing it anyways. It's a homemade sauce, which tasted pretty good.
Overall, the meat wasn't too expensive (which I was worried about) and I just got the frozen salmon fillets from Trader Joes. So, we'll see how it all tastes!
