I do have to say that after moving from California to Texas at 14, I felt the Texas schools served me very well. I was lost in the CA schools and failing. When I moved to Texas, the school system saved me and got me interested in learning.

I take significant issue with some of the judgment implicit in these rankings. They're putting Nerdiest State (based on highest per capita number of library cards) in the same category as things like Most Drunk Driving and Lowest High School Graduation Rate?

I just feel like it's weird that they're all so obviously negative, and stuck in the middle is highest number of library cards. How is that negative?

i feel like i should explain that i don't "like" this but i liked it because i agree.

I didn't misunderstand your like. 

What happened at Newtown is by far the most screwed up thing to happen in Connecticut.
