Want to AW your wrap skills?

We've posted our trees but has anyone else started their wrapping yet? It is my favorite part of the decorating, I'm sick I know. I learned a new bow this year, so I feel like showing off

I love your ribbons! I have to go pick up clothing boxes at target tomorrow...maybe I will get some ribbons too and report back I also love wrapping. It's a quiet ritual for me throughout the month of December. I love having something small and crafty to do for 15 minutes or so in all the chaos of the end of the year.

I really enjoy wrapping, and love the paper we got from Hobby Lobby this year. Target had nothing but then thin stuff, and it was over-priced. These were the thicker paper with the lines on the back, for $4/100 sq ft roll.

The wrapped presents are in the room with DH right now, and he's wrapping mine so I can't go take a pic to share.

This is why I buy Hallmark.  I need thick wrapping.

Those are gorgeous!  Nicely done!  I appreciate beautifully wrapped presents and bows. They're so pretty and thoughtful.  But then I go to try and do it myself, and I'm just like

Yours turned out very pretty.

I had to HOT GLUE all of my gifts this year, lol. I got fancy, glittery wrapping paper and tape didn't fucking STICK TO IT. I googled and the only way to wrap it is to hot glue it. OMG. It does look really pretty, though.

Eb, I have some fancy shiny ribbon I bought, then I found out that NO TAPE will stick to it. So I never use it.

I like wrapping. Problem is, now that the girls are here, my hiding places are now non-existent because the girls use the guest room closet and the tv room now. So I have stuff hidden in Rubbermaid containers and closets and cabinets and baskets all over the house. I hope I can find them all.  And, as always, I'll be wrapping all night on December 24th.  Little brats won't go to sleep.

I've gotten lazy in my old age, but one of my first jobs in high school was at Montgomery Wards as a gift wrapper. When I'm not lazy, I still pull out those skills.

lol, I was PIST! I messed with the wrapping paper and tape for about an hour before I realized it was hopeless. It would stick for about five minutes then all of the presents would slowly start to unwrap themselves. PAIN!

I wrap every single present in bright red paper. BORING, but I bought a shit ton of bright red paper for 10 cents a roll a year or so back, so everyone gets red.

Those are beautiful! I haven't started wrapping yet. My SS sent me perhaps the most beautifully wrapped gifts I've ever received. Simple, but gorgeous. Made me feel all warm inside.

I'm sorry it was a pain to work with, but the gold paper with red snowflakes is GORGEOUS!
