-ran a 6.5 mile race at 6.5 months pg. -and ran a 5k roughly 2 months after giving birth -started back to work after 12 weeks off without losing my mind (though I think sometimes J would beg to differ)

Oh oppps I thought this was for next year since it said 2014 Well these are my goals for next year lol
I busted through 4:00 for the marathon, running Surf City in February in 3:46. Add to that my 7 min PR in Chicago in October (3:39), and that's a total of 24 minutes off of my marathon time from my 2012 PR.
I took 5 min off of my half (1:42), but I have another one on 12/29, so I'm hoping that will be bigger.
Knocked 12 minutes off of my 15k.
Received a promotion at work.
ETA: I thought of another non-H&F accomplishment. DH and I knocked London, Paris, and Chicago off of our must-see list, although we'd like to return to all of them. Chicago especially didn't get the attention it deserved, due to the fact that we were there for the marathon.

5K PR 23:26 (2012 PR 25:52) 10K PR 52:04 (2012 PR 58:06) Ran a sub 2 hr half 10 mile PR 1:26:04 (2012 PR 1:34:51) Half PR 1:51:55 (2012 PR 2:01:30) Won a 5K! Ran a race every month
Non h&f: i got a new job earlier this year, it was a huge step up and just all around better. The change in my stress level has been extraordinary.
H&f: managed my first injury pretty well amd recovered in time to runa fall marathon. Finally placed at my favorite 5k. Joined a swim team, which is amazing.
I ran a 1:49 for my first half marathon in August 2012 and PR'd my fall 2013 half marathon with a 1:41 - 8 minute PR:)
I ran a 40 minute 5 mile race - my first race ever:) in November 2011. I PR'd at that same race in 2013 with a time of 37:02 - doesn't seem like much but those minutes are the results of months/years of training:)

Bought a house! Rescued 2 kittens - one passed away:( Finally went to Napa this past summer - loved it! Traveled to Puerta Vallarta - loved it - the food scene is amazing there:)
- I ran Boston, which had been on my to-do list for more than a decade. - I managed to avoid getting blown up at Boston, although it was alarmingly close and a harrowing day altogether. - I got knocked up! - I have stayed in pretty decent shape through 7+ months of pregnancy. - I took some amazing trips abroad...Sweden, Scotland, St. Lucia. - I finally got serious about working on the novel that I've been messing with for a couple of years. I still don't have a complete draft, but I have a mentor and a peer review group that I love and a good chunk of work that I'm proud of.
I completed my first three Triathlons, my first 5K, 8K, 10K, 15K, half marathon...and had enough faith in my improvement this year (I started the year not even being able to run a mile!) to sign up for a half Ironman next August. All while pulling out my best year ever at work (I'm in Sales, so this is easily measurable).
Boom!

Started competing - and during the first one, I ran 2 miles. To all you marathoners, this sounds like an insane thing to AW. But really, this is a serious accomplishment for fast-twitch me.
Grew the balls necessary to join the advanced class
I increased my deadlift PR by 80pounds. Holy shit. I can dead lift twice my body weight - CRAZY!

I am app-liking all of these posts so far! You ladies are awesome! It was in January this year that my coworker started dragging my ass to the gym with her after work every day. I completed C25K and haven't looked back. I'm claiming victory on sticking to it and over the past 3 months upping my mileage incrementally. I just had my first couple of 5-miler Long runs over the last 2 weekends. Very proud of how far I have come on the road to getting back in shape.
1. Ran my first half marathon (and my 2nd). 2. Finished my first half ironman. 3. Ran 500+ miles in the calendar year for the first time. 4. Made partner at my firm. 5. PR'ed by 3 minutes in my 5k OWS.

Not a novel but I keep saying I need to write a childrens book. Some of them are so dumb and I could make millions!
It seems like forever ago, but I had great races this spring. Set a PR at half marathon, 1:50 down from 1:54, and set a big marathon PR at 4:05 (previously 4:29).
Non-H&F, we successfully raised a little flock of poultry this summer, made some progress on our house, and got away from the farm to take in all family weddings, gathering, etc this year. It may sound ridiculous, but getting time away for everything really is a victory.

-I am hoping to get 900 miles ran this year. Still on track. -I almost PR'd a 1/2 marathon that I was aiming to just finish when I signed up. -I had a great training cycle for said 1/2 and got back to pre-baby speeds while working full time and being a mom to two toddlers.
Non H&F -started working at what I need to remind myself all the time is my dream job - combining my career with fitness -H and I booked our long awaited vacation to Cabo in March!

H&F related: - I shed 18 pounds since last December (ups and downs over the year), with the help of MFP (thanks to this board!) and my beloved FitBit. - Finally, FINALLY got back into running after a many year hiatus. Graduated C25K and will be running my first (in years) 5K this weekend. - Got our home gym up and running and have worked out regularly for the past several months.
Non H&F related: - Had a great year at work. Second year at this job, and it took me that long to get in my groove and help build a great team. - Got my therapy dog team certification with my lab and have loved sharing her with others through volunteer work.
