-I am hoping to get 900 miles ran this year. Still on track. -I almost PR'd a 1/2 marathon that I was aiming to just finish when I signed up. -I had a great training cycle for said 1/2 and got back to pre-baby speeds while working full time and being a mom to two toddlers.
Non H&F -started working at what I need to remind myself all the time is my dream job - combining my career with fitness -H and I booked our long awaited vacation to Cabo in March!
Yay!! Have a wonderful time escaping winter in Cabo.

I'm slowly getting nervous about January, but I hope you're right. I was completely calm going in to Chicago, because I accepted that things didn't go as planned in training, and I was perfectly happy with my new goal of sub-3:40 on race day. This time, things have gone as well as I could hope in the 12 weeks I've had to train, so I know on race day, I'm actually going for it this time. No plan B. That's nerve-racking, but I feel stronger, so I'm excited at the same time.
I can't wait to see what this board tackles next year!
We bought a house! I won a half marathon Got my marathon maniac status by running marathons 2w apart. I BQ'd them both, and placed 7th OA (3rd in AG) for Freedom's Run.

I PRd my marathon and became a nurse practitioner in the same week.... And I've still got a few days left to get knocked up before the end of the year... ?
H&F: -Met my goal of a Top 25 placing at the Cyclocross Masters World Championships in February. I was 22nd. -Won the state mountain bike cross country championships in my division -Won my first ever solo endurance mountain bike race -Lost 15 pounds (I'll take it any way I can-even the hospital diet!)
Non H&F -Took a job not having ever done anything like it before in IT. It's a great fit and a good project so far. -Decided to move on with my life and live the life I want and deserve by myself. -Attended and took photos at the 2013 Cyclocross World Championships -Went to Ireland

your 2013 looks like my 2011 and I'm CRAZY JEALOUS.
H&F 20 minute marathon PR I think I'll hit 1200 mi this year. it'll be tight.

H&F: stayed healthy and active for most of the year, got 2nd in AG in a couple local 5Ks, got to hang out with the lovely kams and zoidberg in NM, made new running friends in DC/VA
Non-H&F: H and I both finally got hired for new jobs after 3 years of persistent applying
Ran my first marathon and came in under my goal time! placed for the first time as 3rd overall female in the Turkey Trot this year! Blew my first 5k race out of the water!! ^^that race! Pr'd my 10k time by 3 minutes! Pr'd my half time by 13 minutes in one year!
Learned to love running without having a race to make me train
Knocked visiting Turks and Caicos off our bucket list. Hiked some new trail in Glacier and Utah this year.
H&F: - I pr'd every single race I did this year. I just got better throughout the whole season. - I started running - I did my first triathlons - I had an awesome recovery from my knee scope.
Non H&F: - Got an unheard of promotion at work - I had an absolutely killer year of getting publications accepted - I got asked to be part of a prestigious Olympic research team - Traveled to Bermuda, London and Ireland.

Aw, thanks. I'm not going to lie, I had a lot of fun racing this year.
H&F - 2 10+ minute half marathon PRs, including my recent sub-150 - 33 minute marathon PR - as of right now, at 1180 miles for the year and I'm on track to hit 1250 - survived 6+ months and counting of continuous marathon training
non-H&F - made it through my 3rd and toughest year of med school - relatedly, I'm now 5 months away from being Dr. Runaways - this time tomorrow, I will have survived the residency interview process (how successfully, I have yet to find out) - 5 years of marriage as of August
All things considered, it's been a really great year.
-running 13 races in 2013 -pr'ed 12 out of 13 of them -running 4 half marathons - took 26 minutes off my time from my first half to my 4 half in 6.5 months. - finally stopped worrying about the scale.

H&F Related - PR'ed every distance I ran at least once - 5K, 4M, 10K, 15K, 10M, Half...usually in less than ideal conditions, ie: tired legs (I ran a lot of races, good grief. Also, speed work pays off!) - Ran my first ultra (50K) the day after a 9hr mtn hike (with 2 summits) and didn't hate it nearly enough to walk away from ultras - Ran my fastest 4miler at the time as my last leg of a 200M relay - summitted 10 14,000+ foot mountains
Not H&F Related - quit a job that had me crying nearly daily - finished my 4th degree (shoulda just got a masters...) - finding my way down a new career path - still married
H&F related - did 2 5ks - found my love for zumba -started cooking healthier meals -learned to push myself to my limit and beyond, no more I can't
not H&F related - help set up a new company - went on a cruise to Bermuda - feel closer to my hubby - improving my work skills - went to over 70 wineries between our local wine trail and 3 of the finger lakes

Non H&F **Developed a better relationship with my 19 year old stepdaughter who started living with us in October....it's been a transition for sure :-)
