It's -1 out, -24 windchill. I don't have time to run any later and wait for better temps, and the roads look slick from drifting. I'm hopping on the treadmill. Only 8-9 miles, so barely a long run, but will I survive? I'll report back soon.
It's 19 with a windchill of 13. I'm going mountain biking when it gets just a bit warmer. I'd like to do my normal ride of 3 hours, but if I make it an hour and a half I'll be happy.

It's 20 with 20mph winds, so it feels like 4 and it's starting to snow. I'm pushing my 7 mi indoor to my parents' treadmill tomorrow since I'm so slow and don't want nasty looks from people at the gym.
It's in the 20s right now, but is going to be 60ish later this afternoon, so I'll probably try to get in my first post-marathon run once it warms up a bit.

Its 20* with a real feel of 7* and its supposed to snow later. Tomorrow when I'm supposed to run 3-4 miles its supposed to be 18* and 30 mph winds, so most likely the treadmill for me tomorrow morning.

That sounds crazy cold on a bike! Good luck to you.
Aren't you the queen of snowy runs? Eventually the temps get you too That's crazy cold!
I'll be in the TM today too. Still too cold and icy in NJ for my tastes.
Maybe not the queen.
I feel like if I can go in full daylight, preferably afternoon, it's better. Also, it's 15+ mph wind right now & that's my arch nemesis. Sometimes it's just a mood thing too.
Anyhow, 90 minutes on the TM easy, 9.3 miles. I survived!

20 degrees, real feel of 9. I bundled up and went outside for 10 miles. It wasn't too bad, honestly. The worst part was having to be careful of icy spots. Hand warmers helped a lot.
It's snowing, 22 with a real feel of 8 right now. I have 5 miles on the treadmill today. Honestly speaking, I am very thankful for my basement treadmill. It's the first piece of exercise equipment that I've purchased that's not collecting dust. I love that I can run at any given moment in the comforts of my own home.
Ok, sap moment over, running always makes me emotional!

Dread milling it here in upstate NY. It's actually in the 20s and not that bad out but I don't have anyone to keep an eye on the kids for a road run today. Boo.
20 degrees with a wind chill in the single digits. I did 5 outside, and then went on the TM for 8 (DH had to leave for work). My winter gear consists only of gloves, so I borrowed DS's Batman hat with ear flaps and layered. Not too bad, but my legs did stay pretty tight. My TM miles were about 45 seconds/mile faster!

Did you run on the trail? I'm trying to figure out where I can run.
Not cold where I am, but WET. Holy shit. I did a new extension on my route (15 miles) that someone recommended (a cyclist) and OMG it was like a freaking Tough Mudder course. I was cursing that bitch for the whole off-road section she recommended. And yet, despite having to walk (WALK!! argh!!) for a few minutes in the worst bits - literally could barely walk as it was super muddy and sloppy - I did my third best HM time of 1hr54mins. Which makes me think next weekend I will dodge the muddy section and totally PR my HM race time. Hell yeah. Even some of the roads were flooded. I spilt some gel on my hand and it was really sticky so I bent down on a flooded road bit and washed my hand in what was pretty deep flowing water. So, not all bad.

I ran on Beach Drive and Rock Creek Trail through DC and MD. Beach was clear of snow, because it's an actual road, but I was pleasantly surprised that the trail was also mostly clear.

We ran on the C & O canal trail, there was so much snow. It was so hard, I'm pretty sure the only more difficult run I've done was my marathon.
only a 3 miler with my H and dogs. It was 23 degrees w/real feel of 12. The wind was bad here today. Had to work mid-morning, so i'll take what I can get!
