I found the first one randomly and am wondering if I can use it as blush, as well as eye shadow. I also hope it will also be good for blending with my beloved coral. The second is Soft Brown and gets raves from vloggers for being a good stand-alone color and for blending other colors. I've seen it IRL and actually think it's much prettier than this photo. The third is Cranberry because no reason needed.
ETA: also, at the end of my purchase I was asked to complete a survey. I said in my responses that I found the very dark MAC website annoying for purposes of seeing the actual eye shadow colors and brush heads and that I go to the Nordstrom site to see them (amirite, eclaires??). I already got an email from MAC. The answer wasn't entirely satisfactory but I was impressed with the quick turnaround. Plus, MAC has live chat on its site to answer questions. Given that we've discussed some poor customer service here, I thought I'd share a positive experience.
I think I have all three of those, from looking at the pictures. I definitely have 2 & 3. What is the color name of the first one? If it's what I have you could maybe use it as a blush depending on your coloring.
I have an ulta date with a friend tomorrow morning after we do out workout class together. Shes been wanting to step up her game, and ive got a coupon. WIN! Helping somebody else buy makeup might be just as satisfying as buying it myself....
Which isnt to say I'm not buying anything for myself. Obvs. But since ulta is doing that thing where there is a coupon so everything is full price, I'm limiting myself to prestige brands. (Hard life)
I'm thinking either naturally pretty or lorac pro 1. And then no more shadow for the year for me. (For real, not just saying that) Anybody have thoughts?

I agree with your thoughts that I shouldn't buy anymore shadow for a year.
IIOY - I want Soft Brown too. I might pick it up tonight. I've been slowly building my palettes.
HA! You almost had it when you had my MAC shipment!
wawa, I vote Naturally Pretty because I am in love with it. The colors in both are quite similar, imo. I don't own the Lorac one and don't have any desire to-- and that's saying a LOT since I'm one of the founding members of this thread and had a shitton of makeup before it existed, lol.
wawa, to answer your Q I would get naturally pretty because the lorac pros looks too much like repeats in my colllection. But what do you have?
Lorac Pro 2
Pro to Go
and a bunch of WnW stuff. walking on eggshells (love), the purple one (love), the green one (don't love) and the really bright one (love, but rarely use)

Free To Be.
@smorriso, Soft Brown gets mentioned so often that I knew it was only a matter of time before I caved! I nearly got Swiss Chocolate as well but I think my MUG Cocoa Bear is a close enough dupe...for now. ;-)

That name doesn't sound familiar, so what I have must just look very similar. I know I could use mine as a blush. I'll be curious to hear if you will be able to as well.

Soft brown looks a lot like my new stila puppy. I love the shade for my crease. I have decided it's going to be my go to everyday work shade.

The pearl color does add a bit of shimmer but it's nothing like what one would think coming from using a traditional shimmer color, if that makes sense? Also it sort of mellows the colors down. I'm still figuring out how to work with it. Maybe SallyJ or another IT palette user not as new as I can 'splain it better...

Yeah I think Tiffany d demonstrates how to use it best in her tutorials. It can be mixed with the color like she does. Or you can overlay it to make the color more subdued. You can also highlight with it.

Three or four vloggers that I follow use Soft Brown all the time to blend. I already have a couple colors I use for blending and didn't understand the love until I saw it in the store. It's actually much prettier than the photo and it caught my eye even before I knew which shade it was.
Today is my wedding anniversary and my husband did good! He used my "wants" board on Pinterest and got me Hoola bronzer, Chocolate Bar pallet, and the Tarte airbrush brush that I have wanted! Happy day lol!

I love my LORAC Pro 1. I use it almost daily. The colors are awesome. I'd buy the palette again just for Pewter.
Yeah I have both of the Lorac pro palettes and the It NP palette and I like the Lorac ones a lot better than NP. And I don't NOT like the NP, so there you go.
I'm heading off to Ulta with a naked face (post-workout trip. So I'll have gotten very very sweaty and then washed my face.) so maybe I'll just play with both of them and see which grabs me. I'm leaning naturally pretty though just because I basically own zero dupes for what's in there, but a handful of the basics in the Lorac I already have.
Except I keep staring at pewter and garnet in the lorac. They want to be mine. But I love love love Nectar in the pro 2 palette so much - it's like a whole new world of makeup to have something that just blends out so nicely and looks so natural up above my crease (the whole concept of "transition color" now actually makes sense to me) and I feel like there is a lot in the naturally pretty in that same sort of color family - the soft matte warm neutrals that have made my weekday mornings so easy since Pro 2 showed up in my mailbox. Decisions decisions. I think naturally pretty is probably for now. I'll hold off on Lorac 1 for my birthday money in march.
Speaking of playing with things starting from scratch - I do not intend to buy a foundation tomorrow. But, I'd like to get somebody to find my correct color match from one of the brands that has a wide array of shades, specifically one that calls out warm vs. cool vs. neutral shades. I mean...bonus points if it's a foundation I'm going to fall in love with (medium coverage, light feeling), but mostly I just want somebody to find something that matches my face so I know what that looks like. Suggestions?
We're creating a new thread every season(ish). Since this one started when the spring/summer stuff came out, we'll do one for fall/winter.
I have no idea who was going to start it though.
I think ESF should take the honors since she came up with the details of the "rules" for the new thread and since she spawned this monster in the first place.
