F: Usual day off Sat.: 3 hour metric century (61-ish miles) on the road bike Sun: 22+ mile easy paced mountain bike ride (including rescuing someone that fell and calling the park ranger. He is bruised & May have a torn rotator cuff but was "ok".)
F: 5 miles, upper body, & core S: 4 miles (Had to wait until 11:00, got 2 miles out, decided it was too damn hot, turned around & went home. I am DREADING legit summer.) S: 10 miles + 4.5 hrs of yard work
11 miserable miles in the 70 degree weather. I honestly forgot how hard it was to run in the heat. I was definitely dehydrated. Hoping for milder weather on race day!

Fri - 3 miles on the treadmill Sat - rest Sun - 5 miles of hills in my neighborhood (time was better by a min/mile than my 5 mile race a few months back)
I have a 10k in 2 weeks and am feeling much more confident about it after this weekends hilly run
F: 6 miles in the morning with a new to me running group S: 12 mile lake loop. Had company for the first 3, which felt like a slog, but turned it on when she left, and finished at under my normal pace. Su: Rest and family day today!
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
Thank you, girl! I have to say, I'm ready for the day to be here!
I am so impressed by chw57. I get to break up my week and do my long run on Tuesdays (usually), but she stacks them back to back like an absolute champ. Plus super mom, wife, and full time job. She has been blowing me away!
F - Circuit training; Friday FAC 5k @34:20 (very slow due to a work call which I took and walked through... ugh) S - Active rest, walked about 3 miles with a friend in the park S - Run, 12 miles and a new distance PR!
Fri - 3 miles on the treadmill Sat - rest Sun - 5 miles of hills in my neighborhood (time was better by a min/mile than my 5 mile race a few months back)

That is awesome! You go girl! I really need to add hills to my runs.

Thanks! Come run in my neighborhood you know the hills I'm doing.
F: rest day, travel for race S: walked for shopping, drinking, eating and packet pick up! S: 10K race today. Weather was absolutely perfect! Great race, good support, fantastic medal. I was simply happy to complete it as training was sporadic due to being sick. Today makes me want to sign up for another race!
Fri: rest day - we did a "Bowl for Kid's Sake" fundraiser for the Big Bro/Big Sis program
Sat: 2 mile warmup + 5k "glow in the dark" race. I finished in 24:50 and was THRILLED with that! Course was short at 3.07km
Sun: 4 miles + yoga DVD. Had planned a 13 mile long run but my legs felt like crap and I bailed early on the run.
I loved watching 60 Minutes segment on the Boston Marathon tonight too. Aaaand Shalene Flanagan favorited my tweet about it, I'm pretty much on cloud nine!
