Good morning! It was a bit of a weird week schedule-wise for me, but I am so thankful I go to take advantage of the grad student schedule for a run over lunch one day and a class at the co-rec another.
Thankful we get to see my SIL this weekend. She is living oversees and we haven't seen her in over half a year.
I'm thankful for my pt. She gives the best, painful (in a good way) massages. She is patient, hilarious and believes in taking the time to heal properly.

I am thankful that I have a 4 day weekend coming up and that my extended family is in town and I get to see them. I am also thankful that next week is a 4 day work week and then I have a week off to spend at home working on our yard and patio.
I am thankful that my ankle healed and taking a week off didn't set me back too far.
I am thankful that tomorrow I have the day off without DH and can mostly do what I want. I really need a day to myself.
I am thankful for my DH. We've been together for 14 years now, and have been through the highest of highs, and the lowest of lows. We've been up for awhile now (after a year or two of more lows)and it's been really nice. Lately it's been the kind of highs where he still gets me all mushy and squishy feeling. We have a lot of fun together, even in the mundane things, and I'm trying to really appreciate how lucky I am to be married to my best friend.
I'm also thankful that we just paid my car off 2 years early, and that DH agreed that between now & vacation, that extra $$ can be re-purposed towards the vacation fund! That means that we definitely get the private boat tour around Capri! (This also helps with feeling all mushy & squishy about him.) LOL
ETA: I am also thankful for the 3 day weekend, and for the vodka I have infusing!
I'm thankful for my family. my grandfather passed away early this week after really struggling for his last week. My family all pulled together, planned things for my grandmother, and spent three afternoons/evening just sitting in the front yard of her house, reminiscing about great memories. I'm very fortunate to have a wonderful, loving family.

I'm sorry for your loss. Your family sounds lovely.

I'm very sorry for your loss. It sounds like your family is wonderful, and certainly something to be thankful for.
he really suffered the last 10-11 days of his life. the last few days he was unresponsive to us talking to him & telling him we loved him....but about 48 hours before he died, he reached his arms out and kept saying, 'mama, mama' - staring off in space. Surely he knew it was the end.....
we're comforted in knowing where he is and that he led a wonderful life. It's the suffering before the end that was so heartbreaking.

I'm thankful for a 3 day weekend.
I'm thankful that my mom is going to come over to my house at 7am on Sunday to hang out with my son since my wife is working all weekend, just so I can run a race that I decided to sign up for at the last minute.
I'm thankful that even though my wife's working all weekend we should still have time for some family things.
I'm thankful that i got to spend 34 years with my great grandmother. She is 99 and They moved her into hospice this week. It sucks, but she's lived a great life. I hope she can hang on one more day for my grandmother, because my grandfather passed away 16 years ago today.

My new watch (Garmin 220 with HRM) arrived last night! I can't wait to set it up tonight. I'm feeling good physically, and I think I'll try to get up tomorrow for a short run, to ease back into exercising after the loss. I'm so thankful for MH and his support, including telling me to just go ahead and order it. And, of course, for my adorable little boy. His "I love you, mommy!" makes every day one to be thankful for.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
