Me. Bahahaha!!! I haven't done a speed workout in over a month and I have a sprained foot. My college roomie from my track days is in town. We are running the Annapolis zooma 10k. She's got iT band issues. Because of my foot, I plan on running with her, so less race and more girl time really Anyone else?
I'm running the Springfield 5K. Hoping maybe for a PR, but I haven't really been working towards one. I do think I have a faster 5K in me than 24:02.
A little hungover today since we met up with some friends last night. But as I learned with my half back in March a hangover on the day before race day isn't necessarily a bad thing.
I'm with you hannahb but it's more because I really didn't train! I'm doing a Sprint Triathlon on Saturday. It won't be pretty but I know I will survive. Signing up was supposed to be motivation, but I guess life just got in the way with a buying a new house and starting a new job. I'm the master of excuses .
P.S. thanks to the ladies who helped me think through the tri suit issue. I think I am just going to stick with the Zoot suit I bought. I realized during my brick on Monday that I hate running in my cycling top. So, oh well another $40 to the "my life is in storage" tab!
Covered Bridge Half Marathon this Sunday. Weather is looking ideal, and I am not hoping for a PR, I just want the race to be as fun and enjoyable as possible
Me! Half marathon on Sunday. I have a cranky quad this morning though. I was super sore from a cross-training workout on Sunday(!!!) too many lunges/wall balls and my quad is aching.
I foam-rolled this morning and will hope for the best. This is a really hilly course, so i'm just running it to run. I needed a training schedule to get my butt in gear mid-winter.
Race web site says the course "is like running up and down a 60 story building" - wish me luck.
My friends and I are doing Color Me Rad Boston tomorrow! It looks like the chance of rain has decreased thank goodness. That will be one hell of a mess if not.
5k on Sunday on one of my favorite courses. It's an all female race to support a local nonprofit that gets young girls engaged in running, so that's exciting. Not so exciting - I'm going to a bachelorette party the night before. Yikes! Here's to hoping that I don't puke

Nah, you're going to do awesome. Do they still do the champagne at the end of Zooma events? Sounds like a fun girls day out.

Ooohh I don't know if they give champagne or not. I hope so!
I'm doing my longest duathlon for the second time (3/16/3). I'm really hoping to PR, but I don't know what to expect. I'm not as well trained with my run, but I'm way better on the bike now. Hopefully it will even out.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.

Dirty 30 50K...should be an interesting shit show. We're getting lots of rain/snow melt and it's a trail race.
I'm going to embrace the mud, and come to terms with the fact I may end up DNF'ing a 50K three weeks after a 50M. For whatever reason the 50K sounds crazy terrifying right now!

I'm supposed to be volunteering for a race tomorrow, but I haven't heard a damn thing from the organizers other than a "thank you for volunteering, we'll be in contact soon!" email two weeks ago so I have no idea if I'm actually volunteering, or where to go, or what time to show up. I'm seriously annoyed by this. At least it's an evening race so it's not like I have to be somewhere at 5am, but still.
I'm running the Virginia Wine Half on Saturday. I'm not aiming for a PR since I ran a half last weekend as well. I am looking forward to the wine sampling though!!
