38w5d here. I'm SO ready for this baby. I'm hoping he'll be here by Sunday (there's a full moon that day, so maybe). I've been having contractions on and off, and I can tell my body is really gearing up, but there's nothing consistent or anything. It's really frustrating.
I do have an OB visit today, so hopefully I'll have made some progress.
21w5d. I had an appointment yesterday and little boy is doing great! It was nice to see my OB yesterday...I think this was the first appointment where we both felt relieved and confident that we are past all the worst parts of being PGAL. I did manage to gain 9 lbs (although today's morning weight showed I've lost some weight so who knows...reality is probably closer to 8 lbs) since my last visit, which was 6 1/2 weeks ago. She warned me to be careful, especially as I won't be wanting to exercise as much as I continue to get bigger. That's just what I needed...I am already so cautious of my weight, working out very diligently, etc...now I feel like I am going to be neurotic about it because she said something. Overall, I'm up 16 lbs which is kind of where I expect to be since I started off on the lower end of normal.
I'll be a newbie here next week if my ultrasound on Monday shows that it's in the uterus and seems to be looking ok. It's too early for a heartbeat (I'll be just over 5 weeks based on ovulation) but I guess I have to make the leap at some point, and showing my face over here won't jinx the pregnancy (I hope!).
24 weeks tomorrow. This past week the babies have been soooo active! I love it. Mornings they seem to be moving a lot more and the other day I saw what looked like what one of them turning. I love this part of the pregnancy.
Next appt is Tuesday. It's my GD test which I'm nervous for. I have an u/s though and can't wait to see them. It's been almost a month this time and I'm curious where they are positioned if I feel both or mainly just 1. I'm also curious for weight gain. I put my scale away so that I will just go off Dr scale.
I hit a consignment sale Tuesday night and got some more clothes. So now I've been organizing. Most of it's neutral but I do have a few boy and girl outfits. Most of the stuff I paid $1 for so if I don't use them oh well. But I'm really hoping for one of each

I think you sound like you are still on the right track. It's funny to me how some Dr's comment and some don't. One of my cousins gained 50 lbs and her Dr never said a word.

I think I'm on the right track. Of course today I'm obsessively weighing myself and so far have fluctuated 2.5 lbs since this morning. I think that is a lot of the difference since the appt was at 11 (and I woke up for work at 4:30). I'm just going to continue doing what I'm doing but being slightly more aware. I have recently started walking more and longer...hoping to keep this up for at least the next 10 wks or so.
Baby is getting more active and I'm finally feeling him at times during the day, instead of just at night or when I'm laying down. It's still not as often as I'd like though; I love feeling him moving around. Sometimes I push on my stomach just to try to get him to move
I went to the sale too linz and got lots of 0-3 month stuff. I didn't get any baby gear though, since none of it was in great condition when we were there. I don't mind used, but some of it had stains and just looked worn. Oh well, just gives me more stuff to add to our (yet to be created) registry!

Ya I only looked at the clothes section. I'm picky about stuff and certain things I'd rather just get new I'll be excited come spring sale when I know genders. I pry would have spent a lot more if I knew what they were
I am mostly over my cold, but I am so tired today.
My mom and I are going to Ikea this weekend to buy some furniture (mostly for the nursery). I have been spending so much money lately, but I a huge list of crap to buy! It will have to sit in boxes for a while, because it is still a few weeks until the carpet is put in the nursery.
Sven (that is the fetus's name) is still growing like a weed, but DID slow down a TINY bit. Measuring 1.5 weeks ahead instead of two.
We found out I'm growing a penis. We *THINK* we'll go with the name Ju.lian Da.vid. If so I can semi credit FastHands (whose name I tagged correctly earlier, but now couldn't because I tried finding "fasty"). The meaning is dorky, but when I was 14 my best friend died in a plane crash that I was supposed to be on with her. Her name was Julia. My brother is Ian. I always liked it for that reason (it's not made up!).
I'm still not completely over morning sickness apparently. I got a mcdonald's cheeseburger today as I was running my little friend (10 year old daughter of bestie) to camp and that's what she wanted. I normally LOVE that stuff. Nope. Puked it up. At least fruit and water stay down...
I'm 19 weeks today. I couldn't find my blood pressure cuff so I ordered another one since I've been getting lots of migraines. The day I got it, my BP was 118/82. I rechecked but diastolic was still in the 80s after getting ready for bed but my pulse was high. I checked last night and it was 114/66 so that's good. My doctor has never mentioned my BP but I just want to double check with the headaches.
I also weighed myself last night and I lost 2 more pounds. I'm at negative 16 now. I'm a little concerned but I was overweight to begin with and gained some weight before I was treated for PCOS. I'm also currently eating a donut so it's not like I'm really restricting myself. I have noticed I get full quicker.

Just for your reference, 140/80 is where they'll start to keep an eye on you more closely, and the "danger zone" isn't until 160/110. Doesn't hurt to check it, but you're definitely not in the range that anyone would worry about at this point (and you may actually find that it goes down some for a bit before 3rd tri and then back up).
orangeglow, I LOVE the meaning of the name. Really sweet. And a combo of names that is still a real name and not some craziness is a definite plus.
I hit my 35/35 (35 weeks down, 35 days to go) yesterday!! More exciting, my urine and bloodwork came back on Wednesday and everything was still ok. I'm not sure if there was an increase in protein (there was from #1 to #2), but it's still in an acceptable range. I'm assuming there was no increase, because I think that they said they would recommend bed rest (or at least modified) if it looked like there was a strong trend toward DANGERRR. heh. SO, that means, barring a spike to 160/110 during my normal monitoring of BP, I will at least make it to my next appointment at 36w1d. This makes me SO so happy.
AND I deep cleaned my bathroom last night, which also makes me happy. lol. The having it clean part, not the cleaning it part.

This. My OB told me the average weight gain is 15 lbs by 20 weeks, so you sound like you're right on track luv2rn4fun!
I love all the newbies!! Such an exciting time for TTTC.
16w tomorrow. We had another ultrasound on Wednesday, which was nice, but the first words out of my OB's mouth were "there's the bunny, and a lot of fibroids." Ugh. Apparently it's not just one big one now, it's like 4-5, maybe more, all of which are growing. Which is unsurprising, but still. My poor little babe is going to get crowded out! So I'm a bit anxious, but OB did tell me she's only seen a handful of cases where fibroids cause real issues, like pre-term labor or late miscarriage, so I'm hoping I'm not one of them.
Otherwise, feeling really good. I feel like I'm past the hump of first tri sickness/exhaustion, which is great. Now I'm just waiting for movement.
And I did an early GD test b/c my dad and paternal grandma have diabetes, and I passed with flying colors. Fingers crossed that continues!
And, the best part was we got a "don't start telling people yet, but I think it's a girl". Which is no surprise to me, I've thought it was a girl since the beginning. So we told our parents and they are both thrilled to death - my MIL has two boys, so she's been dying for a girl.

6w5d. Ultrasound is scheduled for 8/18 at 8 weeks since my beta was so high and it's my first pregnancy. It makes me nervous to wait so long. The exhaustion, peeing every hour, and random bouts of nausea are slightly reassuring.
