We do. We watch a lot of sports and we follow our Chicago teams vs the WI ones. Plus I'm addicted to the dvr. I can't bring myself to cut it but when I've been forced to go without (power outages, moving) i've been fine and enjoyed it.
We cut it out for about 1.5 years when we went down to a single income. We have satellite now. Our 2 year contract is up soon, and DH keeps talking about going "dark" again. I'm not sure if I can do it this time around or not...

We have Netflix and Hulu, but we are moving to a new apartment soon and they provide cable for us for $15, so we will have it soon. Haven't decided yet if we will cut Netflix/Hulu yet.
signing in as another "we have both cable and netflix" couple. i don't think i could function without our regular shows. sometimes, hoarders or the real housewives or true blood is just simply the highlight of my day!
Cable free for about a year and a half. Honestly we cut it because we were so busy at work that having the DVR cue pile up was stressful. We haven't missed it though we do have Netflix streaming.
We just cut cable last week. But we hadn't watched it in about 2 months. Netflix and Hulu+ covers all our needs pretty well. I use iTunes for a few things, like mad men.

We have cable with DVR and Netflix but it's definitely not a budget strain. Funny thing is our Dish receiver went out last week and we had to order a new one, so I didn't have it hooked up for about a week....I barely missed it except for the Voice finale. Even that I found online pretty easily.

We have it, and I don't think DH can live without it. The way we see it, we don't go out alot so TV has become our entertainment. We spend around $175 a month for cable, show time and Internet. It makes me sick how much we spend on it, but I've downgraded as much as DH is willing.

We have cable with internet and phone bundled in. Now that we've imposed a no TV during the week rule for the kids, DH and I don't watch much either.
I think we spend a ridiculous amount for it but DH will never cancel it because it's the only way he can watch Formula 1 races. Which is seasonal. Not a battle I'm willing to fight however.

Ours got shut off yesterday H fogot to pay them. I was at Work but I know it was the longest 4 hours for him to wait with no tv or internet. We are TV junkies. So yea it expensive but we don't go out much so it's our main source of entertainment.

I have not had cable since I moved here 13 years ago. I originally did it so I would go out and meet people and then just never went back. I have great reception though, so I still watch more TV than I should.
I'd give up alot before giving up cable. We have the whole enchilada: premium channels, hd, DVR, Netflix movie channels, apple tv. Don't regret it one bit.

We just cancelled last week. Finances have been a little tight lately, and I realized that most of what I watched was on hulu+ and netflix. So far so good.
ETA: I'm posting from my nook and just realized that I am able to post with javascript enabled! That makes me very happy.

Including now, I've had cable a total of 4 times in my life (total time a little over two years).
My mom doesn't watch TV...seriously I was over there a week ago and I she didn't even know if her TV worked, it's been that long. So growing up she never would pay, but while we lived in a condo it was free (like the basic 50 or so channels)
I lived with an ex and his family once...DVR, premium channels, but it kept getting turned off every month (with other utilities) so they really couldn't afford it.
When I moved into my first apartment, I got cable for free by accident with my internet for like 6 months.
I have cable now only because it's like $10 extra with my internet, and HGTV and Food Network are very addicting at 3:30am lol.
I've had Netflix (instant streaming only) since I was 18 and the free version of Hulu for a couple years. I WANT HBO (True Blood & Game of Thrones) but I'm never home/watching TV when they'd be on, so I'd then need a DVR, and I've contemplated HuluPlus, but I don't watch TV that often.
ETA: I tend to ramble this late at night, so I apologize for the huge post.
We haven't had cable for 4.5 years. We have an antenna and get about 20 broadcast channels (CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, CW, PBS, spanish channel, christian channel, international news channel, etc) for free. We download or use Netflix and Hulu for any cable shows we want to watch.
We only have cable because of ESPN. When we didn't have cable my DH went to the bar to watch football every weekend. Cable is more MM than spending $80-$100 a month eating out.
I don't watch a ton of tv (i.e., I have entire seasons of shows I've taped sitting on my DVR) and neither does DH, but we just can't pull the plug on cable, despite having a perfectly adequate netflix subscription. I swear we keep it mainly for disney jr and sprout.

We cut cable for a year. I think we finally both broke under the pressure. We REALLY missed it.
We have HD, DVR, and HBO/Cinemax.
I will admit that we saved ourselves $1350.00 in that year. Plus we got about a $50.00 a month savings now from the same setup as we had before. We locked that in for two years. We have a package plan for Internet, Phone and Cable TV.
Oh we have cable. Like if we paid $5 a month more we would have every channel fios offered. If I listed our cable/Internet/phone bill, and subtracted out the Internet and phone, which wok reimburses for, MM would still flame my cable bill.
