Thanks everyone...this is a little more edgy of a cut and color for me, but I really love it. It's been a long time since I've had it cut to be worn straight so I hope it works well for curl/wave too!
This week's challenge - smokey eye! Try a neutral one (brown/black/bronze) and one with color. It can be a subtle smokey eye or a bold smokey eye.
I have bought so much at Sephora in the last few days it's scary. I asked friends without BI accounts if they wanted me to buy for then so they'd get the discount and I'd get the points. Only one person took me up on it. The amount of money I've spent on makeup in 3 days almost scares me. I predict there will be some returns, though.

What have you purchased?
Hourglass Ambient lighting powders in Dim light and Diffused light
Laura Mercier mini caviar stick quartet
Clinique almost lipstick in black honey (all of you reminded me that I need to replace mine)
Tarte pigment of your imagination cheek set
MUFE Artist Shadow in D826 (fig)
Bobbi Brown Corrector (I'm getting low)
Living Proof instant texture mist
And I just realized I forgot to buy the little compact for the MUFE shadow. Guess I'm placing one more order. I need to get more of my Clinique sunscreen while I'm at it anyway, just because it's 20% off
Oh, I picked up Benefit Coralista blush for a friend and the UD 500 point perk which I'll probably give as a gift.
I'm headed back to Sephora today so my sister can use her discount. And, you know, bringing my wallet just in case.
Me too, with my BFF. I've already placed an online order, but have a few more things (mostly boring like primer and shampoo) sitting in my cart that I'm planning to get in store. I suspect at least 2-3 impulse purchases may come home with me as well.

Yeah, same. I'm currently reading shampoo reviews. I'm still trying to figure out how best to deal with my wavy hair that doesn't involve daily straightening.
I just posted on MM, but my haul was a litttttle out of control. -Ambient Lighting Palette - Hourglass -Tinted Moisturizer - NARS -Agave lip treatment - Bite -Full cover concealer - MUFE -Marvelous Moxie gloss in rebel - Bare Minerals -Drink up 10 minute mask - Origins -Mia2 Winter hydration set - Clarisonic -Chubby stick in super strawberry - Clinique -BB Cream - Bobbi Brown
gifts for others: - L'Homme - YSL -Advanced formula lip balm - Anthony -Cologne Sampler with voucher - Sephora -Rockitude Lip & Cheek kit - Benefit
I tried Luminous Flush again today and had better luck just applying it lightly to cheekbones, then blending it out with a bit of the middle shade in there.
Also in face - nars duo, gold Skyliner, Bite gloss in honey
This was my inspiration today...but I did it quickly because my only plans are to go to the grocery store.
I used Vice 3 Truth all over, Heroine in inner corner + Freeze over it, Lucky on center of lid, Brokedown in crease, Reign on outer V. Blush is Nyx Desert Rose. Lips are YSL lip gloss in Or Rose.
And you can't really see any of it when I put on my glasses:
Sephora doesn't carry the shampoo I wanted in store, annoying. So obviously I had to order it. And then I also bought the Ole Henriksen 7 piece set because I wanted it and also so I could get free shipping. And now I'm totally going to be rouge before the end of the year.

I ended up at Sephora today and the tart blush palette was in stock!!! I was so excited since its gone from the website. I also grabbed the OH mini set as a stocking stuffer for a few people.
Eyes: Mac pink sparkly pot shadow from the romance collection, raspberry color for Vice3, stila liner; Mascara = sephora curling, sephora full, dior extase, anastasia lash genius (I went overboard)
Eyebrows: dipbrow
Face: Amazing something foundation (meh), Nars creamy concealer, HG blush and powder
I didn't like the colors in store. It was so slammed I was not waiting in line for the corrector either
Choosing mental health today. Nope. Sanity
They'e more metallic than I expected but I think I need to play with how to apply and making sure I blend well. Maybe even putting product on the back of my hand and then using a brush to apply. We'll see if I keep them.
I don't blame you for leaving. It's been CRAZY when I've been in the store.

Does anyone use the Estee lauder perfectionist foundation? I had a sample of it in a magazine and put it on yesterday and I really liked it. It didn't make me greasy and felt really nice. It's also cheaper than hourglass so I was just wondering what others who have more than just a foil sample thought of it.
The makeup will comfort you. At least that's what I tell myself.
Thanks! I was almost in tears over how chaotic that sephora was today. And I needed free shipping. So....
Sadly, my dark circles have gotten worse. I can't deny it anymore. Health issues are the pits
I'm sorry to hear it. I have dark circles so bad that once, in HS, a makeup artist said he would do his best but he wasn't sure how well he could cover them. Ass.
The best combo for me now is the Bobbi Brown corrector, set with powder, and topped with either the Maybelline Lumi brightening concealer or Amazing Cosmetics concealer. I set the top layer with an illuminating powder as well. I've been using Hourglass Incandescent Light, but when Diffused Light arrives I'm going to try that. I wish Incandescent Light was sold on its own! I'm sure there are many other women here who could offer advice on covering dark circles.
I find that obnoxious. You should be able to get the sample bag too.
My theory is that they offer awesome sample bags during sales as a way to convince people with codes to pay full price instead of getting a discount.
My BFF and I hit the Bobbi Brown counter at Dillard's before Sephora today, and I walked out looking like a glitter bomb had hit me in the face. I let one of the girls re-do my eyes since I'd forgotten primer and my shadow had creased horribly, but her "smokey eye" just consisted of sparkle cream shadow all over my lids and as lower lashline liner. I did get the Maui blush (tip of the hat to carrotsmakemefat who recommended it) and my friend got some concealer. We also stopped at the Kiehl's counter where the saleslady threw a zillion samples at us while she admired my friend's baby. It was awesome.
At Sephora I got the Caudelie eye duo set, the 8-piece Fresh lip balm set, primer, and Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Oil shampoo. They were out of all of the Bite sets, which was disappointing, but the girl said they might restock in the next week or two.
Whew! I need to be on a makeup no-buy until the new year.

Damn
Do I need the Maui blush too? Bc I wasn't sure. Lol. How is it compared to the Antigua?
I can not place another order. I'm not doing it. Lol.
It's lighter, slightly more bronze, and has some shimmer in the pan that doesn't really transfer to the cheek. I wouldn't say they're both must-haves, but it's a nice addition to my collection. I also tried Santa Barbara, which is very similar to Nars Orgasm.
