I would much rather discuss some mild disagreements about convenience foods than whatever mean girl drama of the day they have going on over at ML, thanks. If you think it's silly, just ignore it.
This is one of my favorites gifs ever, and I laughed out loud at Jesus wearing pearls. If we didn't judge goldfish and uncrustables, then we don't get gold like this.
we all judge over stuff, and judging over food is one of the biggies in moms groups. So this behavior on this board is not surprising whatsoever.
as a whole, this board is very supportive and good at avoiding personal attacks.
See, I can't fathom choosing to hang out with a group of girls who judge what others feed their kids. Short of 3 squares a day at the Golden Arches 7 days a week I don't get it. Who cares?
I am clearly crabby today and so over parenting but the shit that gets discussed to death over here is baffling to me.
I am so glad the internet was so lame when I had my first kid.
But on this board, apparently even mentioning that you personally don't do it is terrible.
Some project and take this to mean you judge everyone who does do it.
Right....which is silly. There are millions of things I don't do...but don't judge those who do. I don't exercise often but I sure as hell don't judge those who do. I admire them, lol. More often than not, saying you don't do something is giving context for your response. For example, my saying I don't use uncrustables but yet I don't judge is letting the OP know that even though I'm one of those parents who doesn't use them...I don't care if others do. So, maybe, most of the other parents who don't use them are like me, too (or maybe not?)
I'm gonna quarterback therapist this bitch and say if you need space and time take it because it seems like you're tense and it's got to be more than that thread. Come back when your in a good place so we can update you on what other foods are evil.

I did not read that thread but when I saw the title, I thought "who cares what the school thinks?' It is clearly in the realm of acceptable. I do, however, have a helpful tip I learned from a friend: make a bunch of PB&J at once, put them on a cookie sheet and freeze. Once frozen throw them in a ziploc.
I don't understand leaving over that thread. I knew it would be boring as fuck.... so I didn't open it. Then I read this and thought "man, shit must have gotten CRAZY in there, let me check it out!" I was disappointed.
I've never even heard of an uncrustable before this. I read the OP and figured the problem was peanut related so x'd out. Then I went back to see what all the fuss was about. Not what it had been hyped up to be
Fwiw, I make my kid buy lunch every day. Easy peasy

Seriously.
It's funny, my friends will bring over juice boxes or cheddar bunnies or whatever and they are really defensive about it. I'm like "feed your kid whatever you want, moderation dude." My almost 2 year old had strawberries and goldfish for lunch today.
And, I tried an Uncrustable at Disney a few years ago and it was disgusting. DD1 wouldn't even eat it. And we love pb&j in this house.
I'll judge kids acting crazy, bad parenting, ugly shoes, cheap strollers, whatever, but as long as your kids are eating something, KOKO.

It is probably because you have older kids and harder and more complex issues to deal with. At least that is how I feel. I am also too stressed dealing with my own kids to really notice what other kids/parents are doing.

Because everyone can afford/want expensive strollers, am I right?
To clarify, not the price, but well made. I was specifically thinking of what I've judged recently, and my friend had a (not inexpensive) jogging stroller that squeaked constantly, it was awful to go on walks with her. Every time she'd apologize for how annoying it was, but she never fixed it. I judged it.
She probably means putting your infant in the $29 toys r us umbrella stroller. But cost isn't the problem with that one.
Judging on her past statements, I doubt it. Nice of you to give the benefit of the doubt, though.
I totally missed who made the cheap stroller comment at first, then went back and now it makes sense. Why am I not surprised that someone who apparently judges "cheap" strollers (whatever that means) doesn't like to share an $11 bottle of moscato?
