I posted sometimes on NBC. I selected a new username for proboards, though. I had picked my nest username back when I joined the knot and was planning my wedding. I was just ready for a change. I love football, so ThirdandLong it is. Over on NBC, I posted as InLovewSB. I'm still going back and forth between boards. I like them both.
I'd insert a thumbs up if it were available right now.
I don't mind YA. I just hope this new board isn't overrun with it.
Can we make that one of our ground rules ?
That would be awesome. I think it's really just going to require active participation from people reading a variety of genres. It would be funny to have a genre quota and people get cut off after so many posts per genre on one page. ;D

I posted very infrequently on NBC.
Here at proboards, I really want to try and post appropriate topics to the right boards. I love my P&CE errr CE&P but I'd like to expand into the other boards.
Also - although I love Outlander series, if you don't like it, you're not going to get flamed by me 'cause we all have our own taste. While I don't particularly love YA as a genre, lately I've been introduced to some really well-written and entertaining books in this genre but pps are right, I don't understand the YA worship that goes on at NBC.
I posted on NBC years ago. Mostly for recs and I got tired of hearing about YA so I stopped. I'm going to try and be more active here! I read a lot and am always looking for good books.
I wasn't one of the cool kids over there because of my outspoken outlander hate, but I'd consider myself a regular over there.
However, I plan to stick around here. Looks like a good group of peeps
Same. :-) I think I posted there regularly, but I wouldn't consider myself a "reg."
ETA: That is to say, I did find NBC to be a little cliquey. "OMG, you're the best," "NO, you're the best!" "OMG, I love you so much because you love Jamie as much as me." "ZOMG, no, Jamie is MINE." Ugh.
I also have to agree that just because you don't like my favorite books, doesn't mean we can't be friends. :-) I told someone that once who said she really didn't like Catch-22 and wondered why I did. I told her, but with the caveat that I could definitely see how it wasn't a book for everyone.

I posted and participated in a couple of the seasonal challenge, but I would hardly consider myself regular. And I tend not to read bestsellers, so I was left out of most of the discussions.

Ha, I hated Outlander when I read it a few years ago, and I've never understood the love for it. (My biggest issue with the book was Claire being too dumb to live.) I hated The Bronze Horseman, too, but I was afraid to say it.
I only posted occasionally, but I lurked a lot. I got some good recs there (except for TBH, hee!).

What? Cliquey? I can't even begin to imagine what you're talking about. ;D
I think plenty of the true NBC regs are nice people but something new will be good IMO.
