We had a close call yesterday. I could hear the kids fighting over a piece of chocolate while I was in my BR. Then DS yelled "Hey, Mom, I have poop stuck on my hand!" Given the amount of times he's had "poop" on his hands/face and it's just chocolate, I assumed he was teasing. So he came upstairs to show me. I still didn't believe him until he made me smell it. Yep. Dog poop. A turd must have stuck to Bella's hair or something and dropped in the kitchen. DS - next time you get poop stuck to your hand, just wash that shit off (literally), no need to traipse around the house showing it to everyone!
Also, is it common for shit to spray your face and not be sick enough to stay home? Is it common for shit to spay your face in general. Also, don't lick shit off people's faces!!
She seems fine. She ate a heavy breakfast which is not normal for her. I am assuming it really upset her stomach. I am guessing she was trying to look down? I don't know?!
I'm dying laughing. I just read this to my husband and he's laughing too. Sorry for your pain but hope that the laughter you enabled for others takes your pain away!
Because she had diarrhea twice and otherwise acted fine. No fever, no feeling bad?
No. Keep your judgements to yourself.
Once I'd understand; twice, I question whether to send her. Sorry.
You can question all day long. I know my kid and when she is really sick. If you would have read above, she had a heavy breakfast that she does not normally have. I honestly believe that is why her stomach was upset. She went to daycare over two hours after the last time she went to the restroom. She pooped once and then again 5 minutes later.

I don't think two loose poops are anything to be worried about. I certainly wouldn't keep my kid home for that, nor would I expect anyone else to. Hell, that's a regular Tuesday afternoon after I've had a salad for lunch.
Lol, okay. Simmer down. I still think it's a little questionable, but I err on the side of caution bc my daycare is fanatical about these things.
I think you are being a tad harsh here Luce...I mean, she HAD to get her pedicure today because like she said in her new thread, she doesn't have any other time to go.
That would have been much too difficult to do if she kept her kid home, duh!

My awesome daycare that is strict has NOTHING in the rules about keeping a kid home after two loose stools with no other symptoms. I am positive Sally follows her daycare's rules. And honestly....it's hard enough to fit in everything you need and want to get done as a parent. I don't blame Sally a bit for taking her asymptomatic kid to daycare so she could get shit done. There was a perfectly reasonable excuse as to why she had poop issues.
My baby shit directly onto my face. Onto it! "How does poop end up on a face?" people ask. Sometimes it just does, friends.
Yeah as a non-parent I can think of several scenarios where bodily fluids get on you as a parent! Isn't that part of the job? I was surprised that people were wondering how it happened lol.
