Does anybody know if there is a drugstore version of Naked On The Run? I need something to keep in my purse, but I won't use it enough to justify UD's $54 price tag.
I just read an infographic on pinterest about toners. There was so much incorrect information on it I was raging to my h. Like it said that drinking water has 5-6% chlorine. If it did, we would be dead. 1.5% is considered lethal. Drinking water is 5-6ppm chlorine. Don't believe everything you read on the internet!
At a salon? I haven't, but I also hate spending money, so I'm looking to do my own
Gotcha. Yeah I gave up on ever painting my nails anything but clear. Then my mom "made" me try gel with her a few times. I'm sold. They last three weeks without a chip and I'm really really hard on my nails. If she stops taking me, I'm going back to clear on my own. Chips drive me nuts!
I really want to paint my nails. I NEVER do because they chip immediately, even when I get a pro manicure. Anyone have favorite base/top coat recs?
I use Sally Henson top coat and it makes a big difference.
Oldz random: I'm conflicted about how many amazing MUAs on YT are in high school or just graduated. I can't decide if I'm sad that I wasn't nearly that good at my makeup when I was younger or if I'm happy I felt perfectly comfortable wearing minimal makeup and not messing around with any of the high-falutin' techniques.

I use the Sally Hansen Hard as Nails hardener as a base coat (not the gel one, the clear one), two not-too-thick coats of color (I like Essie the best. I prefer a thinner formula), and a thick coat of Seche Vite as soon as the second coat is on. It contracts as it dries so you have to really glop it on there, and do it while the top coat of color is still wet. I can make them last at least 5 days. Sometimes a week.
And speaking of nail polish, I just bought and am currently in love with Essie Petal Pusher. Gorgeous spring grey.

My random is I was so excited to get a new lipstick (Nars funny face) and it looks almost identical to a revlon I have. I can't decide if I should keep it or not. The formula is different, but I don't think $24 worth.

I think the TF Candy Bar is a good purse compact; it's shadows, blushes, bronzer. And while its not drugstore, it can be found for cheap as it was discontinued. I think TJ Max had it for $7 at one point in time.
I think you might get a similar effect using the "bronzer" from HGALP? Thoughts?
I've tried that as a blush but it makes me look dirty.
I have two of the dupes that Temptalia suggests. Plus I'm pretty sure it is a dead ringer for a third blush, Tarte Buff, that I also own. I still want it. I have problems.

I stood in my first makeup line today. This feels like some kind of milestone. Last night I effing DREAMED about the Lorac Champagne Dreams small palette that is the deal of the day at Ulta today. LOLOLOLOL at myself. It's a bit like a mini-version of Naked 3, rosy golds, and for $15 I wanted it for travel.
I dragged my kids over there at 11 and we were with about half a dozen people who were also waiting for the doors to open. Walked in, grabbed one and was out of there.
The reviews on this were very mixed, but it swatches nicely on me and I think for the price I think it's worth it.

These 20 year olds cake their face with a ton of product and they don't even realize how they don't even need it because they are practically fetuses!!!!

I die at how much foundation and concealer they use. It's appalling. I maintain that 98% of them film their tutorials, spend 10 minutes snapping selfies for IG, and then wash it all off except for a bit of mascara and lipstick.

I posted this in MUT 4 but I thought it was a particular egregious use of product by someone who may or may not even be old enough to vote.
Because what you want to do in the heat of summer is pile all sorts of stuff on your skin, right? OMG
I'm familiar with Ingrid Nilsen because of the show Threads, and I have no clue how she got to be so popular. She just doesn't appeal to me. Just for fun, I clicked on this and not only died at her hideous hair but LOL at all of the comments asking her WTF she was thinking.
