Ultrasound suggested he would be 8 1/2 - 9lbs. The doctor and nurses pre-delivery thought that was too high. He was 10lb 3 oz. (Dr's first words were "Wow! He's HEAVY!" Thanks, doc! How about 'Congratulations!'?!?)
They thought my second would be less than 8 1/2 and he was 9 lb 6 oz.
I'm 5'9" with wide hips...apparently I hide the babies well!

I had one with DS1 and they guessed 7.5lbs. I delivered less than a week later (I think it was more like 3 or 4 days later) and he was 7lb, 13oz. So pretty accurate.
He was also born at 37 weeks exactly. So I'm guessing he would have been closer to 9lbs if I had gone closer to 40 weeks.

I had an u/s with Dd that ended up being less than 24 hours before she was born. They guessed 8lb 11oz, and she was 8lb 7oz.
I didn't have one with DS, but the admitting/delivering Dr. asked if I had a guess, and I said if he was under 9 i'd be shocked. Dr. guessed "a bigger 8." Lol. DS came out and the Dr said, "ohhh. Yeah, he's bigger than I thought." No kidding, lol. He was 9lb 12oz!
Mine refused to guess. I am surprised so many guess! Eta I think I was 36w
At 34/5 weeks when my blood pressure started to rise and my platelets had been low for a while they sent me to a Perintologist to have a specific measurement/weight ultrasound done to see how he was developing since they knew I'd have to be induced soon if my blood pressure kept going up. I think I had my u/s done with the Peri early 36 weeks.
I don't think any of the regular OB's or u/s techs at the normal office every guessed weight based of ultrasounds and I had 2x a week starting at 35 weeks with both pregnancies.
Two of my best friends had late weight guesses that were way off. One had a scheduled c-section because the baby was supposed to be 10 lbs. and the doctor said he wouldn't fit through her pelvis. Baby was 8 lbs. 2 oz. the other friend was told that the baby was around 9 lbs. and delivered an 11 lbs. (and a few ounces!) baby 48 hours later.

Didn't have one with DS1, but when he came out 11lbs, they had me do one for DS2. He was estimated 9lbs at 38 weeks, and when I had him a week later he was 9lbs 4oz. So, pretty accurate!

Five days before my induction I was told my son was already 9 lbs 5 oz, so we were expected a 10 lb baby. He was 8.14 at birth, so over a lb less than they expected. But, he was on the shorter and chubbier side, so the guess wasn't all that far off lol!
With DD, they said she'd be about 10 lbs and that I would need a c -section. I'm glad I didn't listen. DD was 7 lbs, 10 oz and I had a vaginal delivery.
With DS, I didn't get a guesstimate. Eta: he was measuring fine, so there was no need for a growth u/s. Interestingly, while DD was measuring ahead my whole pregnancy, she was 12 oz. lighter at birth than DS was, same exact length.
Mine refused to guess. I am surprised so many guess! Eta I think I was 36w
I only had one with DS3 because I was planning a home birth and they felt size could be an issue. Ds2 was 9 lbs which they felt was large. It is larger but I had no problems delivering and that's an average size baby in my family.
Mine refused to guess. I am surprised so many guess! Eta I think I was 36w
I had growth u/s at 26, 30, 34, and 38w due to a high FH measurement. I don't remember my OB guessing either. He told me the percentile M was in for gestational age, and I extrapolated that out to a percentile for birth weight. I think he was going to be 9-something, and he was 8-11, so probably within 1/2 lb.

Mine were estimated at 7 lbs at 38 weeks (each pregnancy) and said a half a lb each week would put them at 8 lbs at 40w and at 40w1d and 40w2d when they were born, they were 7 lbs 15 oz. So basically almost perfect in their guesstimate.
