I love Lego HP! Broc is totally going to come in here and shank us both for it lol. Have you played both games? I actually really like all the lego games.

I have both and love them both. My husband and I get on streaks where we play for hours, luckily our 3 year old doesn't feel too neglected when we play since he gets to hold a controller.
I haven't gotten LHP, but loved Star Wars and Indiana Jones. You dorks.
Fav board game is either Boggle or Mille Bourne, current video game is Skyrim, yes still, though I'vebeen getting back into Terraria. All time, time played is definitely WOW, but I spent a ton of time on The Sims while I was in college.
My favorite board came was life. OMG, did I love Life. I also like Monopoly except when I played with my douchey brother who takes everything so effin serious. Holy shit, I just wanna play, dude but he got hostile.
I like Fable II even if I rarely play it. I saw a new game that's coming that I really, really want but H says it would be too hard for me because I'm a newbie. And the truth is, he's right since I wouldn't play it often enough to get good. I'm a total beginning to video games. I didn't have a commodore 64 and every other video game thereafter like mr man did.

Habs- did you know if you buy Life now, it's different? It's not as fun as the one I grew up on. Luckily I found an old version at a thrift store, but I still hate the new version.

What???
Yes, it totally sucks. Occupations/Salary/House are all cards that are drawn, so there's not as much of an advantage of going the education route.
Board: Nuclear War (although it's not exactly a board game, and it's best when played with people who are familiar with the game) Card: Flux! PC: WarCraft2: Beyond the Dark Portal (Battle.NET edition) Video: Tetris
I'm not really a video gamer but as the spouse of one I had to check this board out. My husband has been looking forward to Diablo 3 for months now. I think I'll barely see him this week.
I'm addicted to Dominion. We have the basic and the Intrigue editions, and I must get the Alchemy expansion. Our group also plays a lot of Elder Sign.
OH! Chrononauts! LOVE LOVE LOVE Chrononauts!!! I really wish they'd expand that shit back to ancient Rome. The timeline could be MASSIVE.
Also Munckin Bites and Munchkin Bites: Pants Macabre.
The Battlestar Galactica board game kicks ass, especially with the Pegasus expansion.
Our go-to party game for non-gamer groups is Ubongo. Don't have the expansion yet. Either that or Super Yahtzee. What's that? Super Yahtzee? Oh yes. People laughed at me when I said I was going to make it, but there's something undeniably badass about rolling 9d10. Now they all think it was a great idea.
I don't play a lot of video games, but I do love beating people to death with a wrench in Bioshock. So fucking creepy. I've been playing Alan Wake a little bit also (we just switched to Xbox from PS, so we're catching up). I tried Arkham Asylum, but I find it difficult.
Any RPGers left? We did some Doctor Who when it released. I want to play Buffy but our only other guy won't play (he's opposed to the series for some fucked up reason).
Is Alchemy worth it? What I'm really looking for is an alternative to the Moat. It sucks to have so many action cards but only one reaction, because you know that pile is getting wiped out in 3 rounds.

I have to pick one? Not possible.
Kingdoms of Amalur Mass Effect Trilogy (even though they fucked the ME3 ending) Dragon Age Series Elder Scrolls Oblivion and Skyrim Deus Ex Halo Series (the original is my favorite of this group) Army of Two Fallout 3 Gears of War Series Portal (I did not think Portal 2 was well done in comparison) Star Wars The Old Republic Assassin's Creed Series Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time (the original not the re-releases) Duke Nukem Forever (because anything that takes 13 fucking years has to be great) American McGee's Alice L.A. Noire Alpha Protocol (does the role playing aspect even better than ME in my opinion) Psychonaughts
There are more but these are the one's in my collection that I keep coming back to (lately anyway).
OMG I just realized I got LA Noire for my bday 6 months ago and haven't touched it b/c I was supposed to finish Bioshock and Alan Wake and Arkham first. F that noise.
I like Fable II and Fable III, wasn't a fan of the first one though. I also love the Lego games, HP is my favorite. My H plays more than I do. Skyrim would be on his list.

Alchemy is fun, but there aren't any reaction cards. I was looking online, and the Hinterlands expansion has 3 reaction cards- and it sounds fun.
Alchemy does have a victory card that I like that is worth 1 victory point for every 3 actions. Also, a lot of the cards are interactive- so if you like to have your own deck with little interference, this may not be the pack for you.

I have Skyrim, but I'm just not sure I like it. I don't know if I haven't played it enough or what my issue is considering everyone else raves about it.

Elder Scrolls was one of the first games to follow the 'you can go anywhere and do anything!' model in Morrowind. I've found though, that if you get it for console you'll be generally lukewarm about it but if you get it on PC it's the best game evaaaaar! At least, I know I like doing archery in particular and it's hard as fuck to aim with those fucking thumbsticks.

Too many boardgame/card game faves to name just one (these make my list in no particular order):
Hawaii, Tobago, Stone Age, Attika, Dominion (all expansions except Alchemy - we don't have that one), Ubongo, Dixit, Ingenious, Pack & Stack, Train of Thought, Last Will, Core Worlds ... I'm sure I'm missing some here.
Are any of you gamers on BGG? Anyone going to BGGCon in Dallas this year? We're going and it will be our 4th year. Great Con! And with their new, larger venue they haven't sold out yet (over 90% now though).
I played Diablo and Diablo II, but we haven't bought Diablo III yet. Played some Civ back in the day.

Board: that's a tough one. Arkham Horror and the Civilization board games are exceptional. When I was a kid I had a board game called Oh What a Mountain that I was totally nuts over. Oh, and Boggle. My family won't even play Boggle with me anymore.
Video: The Diablo series. I also love some of the old school NES games like Final Fantasy, Dragon Warrior, Shadowgate. For relatively current games, Alan Wake and the Drake's Fortune (is that what they're called? brain fart) are wonderful. Also Saints Row takes up some of my time too.
