What is the general schedule for ultrasounds at your re? We obviously have the first at 7 weeks but if that one is good (fingers crossed and I am feeling positive at this moment) when do you typically go back and when does your re release you to the reg ob? I know schedules are different but I was just curious. Hopefully we will have a good ultrasound Monday and then find out at our appointment then.
My RE did u/s at 6, 8, and 10 weeks then released to OB. That seemed to be later than most. Some release after one but two u/s with the RE seems most common.
Mine is doing ultrasounds at 6, 7, 9, and 10 weeks. I think it's overkill and more than they usually do, but my nurse said they are keeping me an additional week (and giving me an additional ultrasound) because they couldn't find the heartbeat at the 6 week ultrasound.
Perhaps we will do 7 and 9. I can't remember if any of the info tells us their typical schedule need to dig that up. We are away the 5-12 of July so we won't be able to get one done at 8 weeks even if they wanted one.
I then saw my OB at 15 weeks and started having u/s regularly because of twins, if I was pregnant with 1 OB u/s would have been 20 and 32 weeks. They also do NT scans but I wanted that with my RE.
My RE does 7w and 9w and then will release if you have been cleaned to wean off med (me: progesterone). I won't be weaned by 9 weeks, so I assume I'll be released at 10w.
I went straight to my OB following my betas due to traveling OOT to see my RE.
I've had ultrasounds at 7, 12 (this one was unplanned as my H missed the first one and my OB got excited he was there at this appt and did an u/s instead of the scheduled doppler for us), and 20 weeks so far. I know I'll have at least one more in another month or so before we move, because they found a low lying placenta at my a/s and want to check it one more time so we know what we're looking at when I transfer doctors yet again. And chances are I'll have another one after I get to Germany, because when I transferred to the new OB here they did one just to make sure I was as far along as I said I was.
I had more u/s than usual that were OHSS related (every other day from 3w5d to 5w2d, but they were abdominal u/s just for checking fluid levels), but as for determining viability... We did one at 5w2d to check on the OHSS and moved to trans vag and saw a sac. Then we did another one at 6w1d and saw the heartbeat. She released me that day and I promptly made an appointment with my OB for 8w0d.
My OB did u/s at 8w, 12w (NT scan) and 20w. I haven't had another one since with my OB since I am low risk.

I had an u/s at 7w1d with the RE and was released then. Had a midwife appt the same day but since it's twins they won't see me. Going back to my old OB/gyn at 10w2d and another u/s is scheduled for then.
Thanks everyone. This is the problem with my dw being the patient she never thinks to ask the next step(s) and just goes with the flow. I am not such a go with the flow kind of lady. I know that I had my nt scan with the Mfm practice at our hospital and I assume the re doesn't do them. Our u/s this time and last time is at the women's imaging center down stairs and then we go upstairs for our appointment. Good thing I will be there to ask questions. because if it was up to my wife she would come home with zero info. (Just kidding...sort of)

I had an u/s at 6w and will have another at 7w if all is well, I'm released to my OB (which I don't have one that I plan to see for the pregnancy! eeks!).
I'm thinking I should go ahead and find a new OB-GYN- my old one is just too far to travel for a pregnancy, and not affiliated with either of the hospitals I would want to deliver at. It was fine for once a year, and she has been my only OB-GYN ever, but time to say buhbye!
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!
I haven't had bloodwork since betas, is that weird?
No, just consider yourself lucky I had it drawn to check my progesterone and estrogen levels, since I was on PIO and Estrace, and to check my thyroid since I was taking levothyroxine.
I was on progesterone suppositories due to low blood work numbers. After being on it a week, my numbers bounced up to 40. After another 5-6 days they told me to cut them in half, to start the weaning process. After 4-5 days of cutting them in half I had more blood wok and my numbers came back today at 20. They told me to keep with the half, and as long as that number was in the 20-30s next week (stable) they would then let me start doing quarter sized.

I'm on PIO still. They gave me a weaning schedule but didn't actually test my progesterone level.

I had one at 6w and 8w, and there's another one scheduled for 10.5 weeks. I also made an appointment with the MFM for the NT scan at 12.5 weeks. I haven't had any bloodwork since the betas.

So here's something I thought was a little weird. My RE said he was going to send a letter to my OB about me and my treatment history. The next day, I called the OB to make an appointment. The receptionist asked me if I had a medically verified pregnancy. I said I did, and she asked if I could come in to show them the paperwork. I don't have any paperwork, plus I was leaving town, so I'm hoping that the letter from the RE will arrive this week. But the process, with the requirement for a "medically verified pregnancy", wasn't what I was expecting. Is that normal?

Not from my experience and I've been accepted and seen by 2 OBs so far. The only place I had to "verify" my pregnancy for was the military clinic to get a referral to see a civilian OB. That seems, weird. I always assumed the OBs office verified it themselves with a urine or blood test when one gets pregnant on their own?
I had an estrogen and P4 check at my 6w u/s. My OB did a bunch of bloodwork, all the standard new patient stuff. I think he did not do STI testing since we just had it done for IVF.
I didn't have an RE, but I've had 3 scans so far. The first was because I was spotting at 3w5d, the second to check for progress at 5w where we saw a sac and yolk sac, and the third at 7w to check for viability. It's very unusual to have early u/s in the UK unless you have a history of loss. If you have a normal history, you basically tell your GP and they refer you to the hospital for your 12w scan.
I had ultrasounds at the RE at weeks 6, 7, 8, and 9. The RE had me go to the OB once before he released me, so I went there just before my 9 week RE appointment and had another ultrasound with her because that's standard practice there. I had ultrasounds at the MFM at 12 weeks, 20 weeks, and 32ish weeks, but my OB sends everyone for those.
After betas I didn't have any bloodwork at the RE (except Panorama). The OB did bloodwork but it was the same that she does with everyone.

I thought I'd chime in since I know we have the same RE. I had my first U/S at 6w2d, and you might recall I had emergency surgery that day for the heterotopic pregnancy. She had me come back a week later to confirm everything was still ok after surgery, and when that US was good she released me to OB. Not sure if her protocol is different for IUI vs IVF patients though.
