Does anyone have an outstanding tomato bisque recipe? I've never successfully made it. We have a ton of tomatoes and need to use them up. I want to do a grilled cheese and tomato soup dinner this week, but I need a good soup recipe.
I've made it a ton of times. I like to saute onion and garlic in a stock pot, add tomatoes and some stock, cook for an hour or so. Then I blend in the vitamix, pour back into the pot and slowly pour in some cream.

This is what I always do. I add fresh basil to the tomatoes if I have any. Minus vitamix but it's a very bendable soup.
