That will make it a day 6 transfer. The embryos are developing slowly. I want to cry.
Update- we transferred one beautiful embryo! The doctor said it looked as good as an embryo can look. And I read yesterday that slower developing embryos may be more likely to be girls. Hopefully! So now, the wait begins! I don't go for a beta until Oct. 12, but you can be sure I'll poas before then, lol.
Oh hugs honey. Try not to read too much into it. Embryology is such a new field that it baffles doctors that do it every single day. I'm assuming they are making you wait so they can choose between a bunch, right? That's good news! Hang in there.

No, don't stress out!!! The same thing happened to me, and I thought the worst, and they both took. :-) A six-day transfer isn't a bad sign, they're just waiting to make sure they choose the very best one to transfer. I promise!
One is way behind- only 8 cells at day 5. And then I have 3 morulas, they're waiting until tomorrow to see if they become blastocytes. The nurse told me it's ok, it happens sometimes. But of course, any news that isn't exactly what I expected it stressing me out.
I was supposed to leave work at 11:15- I think I'm still going to leave, go get a nice lunch, and then go home and do some things around the house.

I hope they are just dividing more carefully! Developmental biology is a funny field-- there are still so many things we don't know. Very good luck for tomorrow!
