Pedi called and said I can keep nursing. He said that Stella has already been exposed and it's good for her to keep nursing. He gave me some things to look out for snd said I'm doing great. He was really reassuring. I'm still terrified but I'm going to keep the course for now and see what happens with these new antibiotics. I'm not going to make any decisions on nursing as a whole until I see if this responds to the meds.
I agree with you 100% on doing whatever you can to protect your baby. If there was even a remote risk, I'd be done, too! I REALLY hope this round clears it up for you. What an absolute nightmare.
Oh my goodness, you have gone through so much. I am wishing you a quick recovery and strength in whatever you decide. You are a rock. I think many women, including myself would have thrown in thw towel long ago

could you pump and blanch it, similar to what women have to do when they have too much lipase. Or just dump...and return to nursing when you get the all clear? Pumping would be just so you don't dry up
