light watery spotting is probably nothing right? if it had happened a week ago, i'd have just blamed the progesteron suppositories, but since learning about the small bleed monday, of COURSE i kind of panicked.
but i also had to get up at 2 am to pee for the first time last night, and woke up feeling like ass. methinks baby just likes messing with me.
Because it is not happening to me, I can say with absolute certainty that it is probably nothing.
Do you have abother sign in with a different avatar or am I really confused?

my stupid photobucket hit the bandwidth limit yesterday...so i just paid the $3 to upgrade cuz it was making me INSANE.
callmehales I'd totally call my nurse. I feel like the RE is even better at dealing with paranoid patients than the OB. I might be a little high maintenance at times. I had a LOT of anxiety this pregnancy especially early on. but it's REALLY likely nothing especially if you just stopped progesterone. Those suppositories take a little bit to clear out in my experience.
yeah, i might call just to see....and i haven't stopped progesterone. but early on they caused some spotting, only when i inserted them. i think i might have a high maintenance cervix, lol.

I think the nausea is starting to hit. At least I think that's what this is. I feel like if I don't eat, I will be sick, but everything I might eat also sounds like it will make me feel sick. Does this sound right?
And I'm not even mad about it because I had a scary Tuesday with a gush of bleeding as soon as I woke up so any additional symptoms right now are completely welcome.

this is EXACTLY what happened to me. nothing sounded good at all, but not eating was miserable. i also started carrying a tin of artic altoids, because sometimes eating would be fine, but then after i'd feel sick.

Yup! I had it bad with this pregnancy but only one day of it with my first. Carbs were the only thing that helped me survive.
It's mostly gone now (I'm 14.5 weeks) but still have the occasional day of ickiness.
Hope you feel better soon! I also found that hard candy helped (I keep a bag of Jolly Ranchers in my desk)
Has anyone here experienced elevated thyroid levels at the beginning of pregnancy? I got a call from the RE today saying that based on my blood test, my thyroid level was 2.8something, when it should be 2.5. I have to get blood drawn AGAIN (5th time in a week and a half) to verify, and then potentially treat it through medication. I don't know whether or not be worried.
Ditto what @cookiemonster03 said. I was on thyroid meds prior to TTC and my meds always change to a higher dose when I'm pregnant. I get blood drawn every 4 weeks now.

I only found out about my thyroid problem this week, and as far as I know my doctor wasn't too concerned. No clue how long mine's been underperforming but I'm now on medication for it. My doctor said it was really my problem and not the baby's, because "your baby is like a parasite, albeit a cute one."
I think cactuscookie has been on thyroid meds her entire pregnancy.
ETA: This is all completely new to me, so I have no idea what the different levels indicate - does high mean it's hypothyroidism?
Whew! Thanks, guys. Glad to hear it's fairly normal. loira, I don't know if it's hypo or hyper, either. I guess I'll know more after my next blood test.

I was put on the medication during TTC because my level was a little high. I think 2.5 or something, and they wanted it <2? I'm on 50 micrograms. It's a really easy pill for me to take, I just take it with my morning (herbal) tea and I almost never want to eat anything for half an hour after that anyway. I've never noticed any side effects from it.
I was also found to have hypothyroidism when I was undergoing TTC testing. I'm on 75 mcg of Synthroid now (started on 50 mcg but switched amount when I got pregnant). I was on the generic but my RE didn't like the up and down of my levels on it so I have to be on the brand name. I just had it tested again the other week and my level is just above 1.
I'm finding this thyroid stuff interesting. There must be some variance in what doctors think is 'normal' because my levels were at 3.3 and my doctor said they look for it to be between 1-3. So I'm only on 25mcg of Synthroid.
I am a little concerned that my problem was only just discovered now and I'm already 27 weeks. I haven't got my 10w blood work records from the UK since nobody ever said anything was out of the ordinary. I'm assuming they would have tested for it. I know they tested my thyroid for my RPL testing, and it was found to be normal right before I got pregnant. I'm hoping it hasn't been elevated for a long time because I read it helps with brain development in early pregnancy.
callmehales it's completely fine to call in paranoid as I call it. I had a day when I was getting these regular BH but they did have some pain and were timeable, so I asked to be seen even though they were like its NBD.

Has anyone else noticed right after a PIO shot the oil sort of "leaking" out? I've been noticing this more in the last week or so and it makes me worried that I'm not getting the full dose. Any way to stop this from happening?

Look up the Z track method for shots. It's good to prevent leaking meds. That will help some with leaking, but to be honest if it's just a few drops you are probably ok.

It's definitely not a ton, but I'm just anxious about everything. I will try that method and see if it helps.
