28 weeks for us and a busy week for us. Wednesday on appointment for Rohan shot and a check up with the on. Friday we have a mental appointment. Of course we couldn't get an mfm appointment Wednesday and the on is not in on Friday. Kind of annoying but oh well.
Major nesting mode over here today. We assembled the crib and moved the chair into the nursery. Put down the rug dw's grandmother made. Found the changing pad and put that on the dresser. We still need artwork for the walls and book shelf and storage for toys but we are moving in the right direction.
I made two trips to goodwill and finally moved all our summer clothes into storage. I also put the high chair (didn't love ours so we are getting a new one) and two bins of dd's clothes to dw's car so we can bring them to her parents this week to store.
I am pretty happy with how the nursery is shaping up
It's looking good ssg73! We just started painting yesterday. Doing all the trim work is a pita! We are hoping H gets released early a couple days this week so that we can get it done. I love our furniture so I can wait to get it in there.
I'm 23 weeks today. The only thing baby related is to go take the 3hr GTT which I'll do Tuesday morning. Both DD and I have appointments tomorrow for the dentist and to get our hair trimmed and I also have my yearly vision appointment. I figured I get them all done in one day so I can enjoy the rest of my week off work.
I know it is pretty awesome. My mil found it in the attic at her dad's house (2 actually) and got it cleaned and it looks amazing. I think her moth made it in the 60s so not bad for a 50 year old rug. Good old New England crafting in the cold weather. It is made out of salvaged wool coats from yard sales.

@ssg I love that rug! Braided rugs never last in my house because my dogs think that they are wee wee pads. Jerks!
Two weekends from now dh and I are going away fur the weekend because we are FINALLY having the hardwood floors refinished. We've Been putting it off for a while but it definitely needs to happen before the baby gets here. So yay for shiny hardwood floors and yay for a little trip. There is a really nice resort about an hour from our house that we have been taking little getaways to now and then. It happens to fall on the weekend of my birthday so it's working out well
I asked the hardwood floor guy he's honest opinion about whether we should refinish the wood floors in the room that will be the babies room or if I should get carpeting. You've got to enjoy an honest sales person, because he told me I would be better off with carpeting for now and then maybe pulling it up in a few years when he's older
Super cute ssg73! Good luck lms! Had our last shower this weekend, now I'm making a list of what all I need to buy and where. I lost my mucus plug last week, and today I'm having some spotting. I'm interested to see what the OB says tomorrow -- we have our first NST. Then I have another a/s follow up with the MFM on Wednesday. Playroom is almost done! I posted pics on MMM and H&G.
ssg73, your nursery looks great. It's so elegant. I love the wall color, and the rug is great.
Our baby room is a jumbled mess of hand-me-downs at this point.
Don't fret, you're not the only one. Our baby room is still an office, with 2 desks and 2 bookshelves... all covered in books, paperwork, and various computer parts.

I'll be 12w Wednesday. I'm in total pgal brain and I'm planning on insisting a Doppler check tomorrow. I'm also waiting to get back results from panorama. Maybe then I will start feeling like this be real. I've been waiting for the other shoe to drop - and being done with the first tri on the horizon hasn't helped like I hoped.

I'm sorry, I know how awful PGAL is. I think it's totally fine to insist on a doppler check or quick u/s. Though keep in mind, they might not be able to hear anything on the doppler so early. I hope you get wonderful results from the Panorama test. Will you be finding out the sex?
Rough week. Last Monday I got a call that my dad wasn't doing well (he's had a bunch of strokes that were basically caused by high blood pressure so he was in a nursing home) and he passed away last night. I'm so sad DD and the new baby won't get to know how awesome he was but I know he's having a blast in heaven with the 3 babies that we lost. It makes me feel better that now someone I know is with them. But I miss him terribly already, though he hadn't been himself or the dad that I knew for probably 5+ years.
I also was having a ton of BH this past week so I've been trying to stay calm and keep my feet up throughout all this. I'm looking forward to this week and spending some time with family.
We have SO MUCH that we need to do to the nursery. I'm hoping to move this baby in there quickly since we did with DD so I feel like we need to get on it. We need to get a new dresser for our room so that we can clear out the dresser in his room and unpack the boxes of clothes I have. Crazy!!
bcarp30, I'm very sorry for your loss. It's terribly unfair that it was before his grandchildren could get to know him properly. You and your family are in my thoughts. ((hugs))
I spent all weekend trying to get ours in shape, and I'm finally coming to terms with the fact that everything takes twice as long as I think it should. Several years ago we were handed down a little girls French provincial bedroom set which is awesome, but is in serious need of refinishing. We're only using the dresser and mirror for the nursery but I spent all day yesterday painting and they still need a final coat before sealing. I honestly thought I'd have it done with the curtains up and crib skirt made by the end of the weekend. Maybe next weekend!
31 weeks tomorrow and feeling okay. Lots of Braxton hicks and back pain going on, but I think that can be chalked up to bending over all day painting the dresser. Also it's nearly 5am and I've been up for an hour and a half, so sleep has not been awesome lately.
Keep us updated boiler717! Hard to believe that any of us are this close!

Good Morning, 7 weeks 2 days today. This is the longest we have been pg. Think the nausea is just starting up, and I am kinda excited about it. I am cramping a little more, not bad cramps though. I still have 3 weeks until my next appt and H and I cannot wait.
Not much new here. I managed to not get up to pee overnight for the first time in weeks, though!
Next dr appt is Wednesday, but it's just weight, listening to heartbeats, etc. I have one more 2-week appointment gap and then start going every week and getting NSTs done. I never had one with DS, so that'll be different. Looking forward to the next ultrasound in 2 weeks and hearing heartbeats on Wednesday - DS will be coming with me since he doesn't have preschool that day.
17 weeks today. Would you believe I still haven't told my brother+family and my dad that I'm pregnant?! I'll finally see them for Thanksgiving (my brother+family) and then on Sunday (my dad) so at least they'll know before 18 weeks!
I do feel bad because I'm certainly not hiding this pregnancy by any means. And I'm on a local message board and my SIL's coworker/friend is on there too. I announced there pretty early. So I'm hoping SIL's coworker/friend hasn't spilled the beans, but there's really nothing I can do about it.
Poor second child is already getting the shaft ;-)
24w 3days. A little delayed but our 24w appointment went well. We got a quick 4-d ultrasound image of her, which was so amazing to see!! We also scheduled my c-section for 22 February (37w 3days), I'm not thrilled about having to deliver early but I am getting a little kick out of the fact that we were married on the 22nd and our daughters birthday will be on the 22nd (different months).
I can't wait to roll out the Christmas decorations this week!
8w2d here, and the morning (well, all-day) sickness finally started this weekend. Careful what you wish for, I guess! We ordered a cute book about grandparents, and we're going to tape the ultrasound inside and give it to my parents when they come over on Wednesday. I already know my mom is going to freak out. I'm excited to finally get this at least a little bit out in the open, though!
