This is embarrassing but I'm so miserable. I haven't pooped in three days. I'm sure it's pg related because I usually don't have issues. I'm drinking a ton of water. Eating well.
What can I do that is pg safe, won't cause stomach cramps, and won't force me to stay around a toilet for a full day?
I'm open to most anything- just please don't make me drink something gross. My gag reflux is sensitive right now and I don't want to throw up everywhere.
Ok I can do fiber pills. I'll pick some up tonight, thanks. I know progesterone can cause constipation and I'm still on shots because my numbers are low. I'm sure that's part of the problem.
If you can drink any fluids, mix in restoralax. It doesn't have any flavour or texture to it, and works wonders. If that doesn't work, colace and senekot. If that doesn't work, then you need to pull out the big guns. The big guns aren't fun (ie, fleet). I still have nightmares from having to do that 4 days after the twins were born....

OK, I just had to deal with this on Sunday because of surgery and I didn't go to the bathroom in three days either.
1. Miralax now. 2. Tomorrow, if you still haven't pooped, you need to start with a suppository. I luckily had some at home but they were child size however I guess the size of it worked well for me. Also get some Vaseline because it's not comfortable. 3. Be prepared to lay on the bathroom floor so the suppository doesn't fall out. It's gross. 4. Then, if the suppository doesn't work, then use the fleet enema. I would totally do a glycerin suppository first though because an enema is not something that you want to do unless you really really have to. 5. After I started to go to the bathroom, it was diarrhea all day long. It's sucked and I could not eat anything all day.
Good luck! Constipation sucks so hard. If it's because you're pregnant, I would take a little bit of MiraLAX every day to every other day. Also, MiraLAX causes extreme gas and some people so please have Gas-X on hands to help with a very bloated and uncomfortable stomach.
