Hi everyone. I've got an appointment tomorrow. I'm 17 1/2 weeks.
I was showing some wacky glucose reading so they gave me the 1 hour glucose tolerance test. I passed it by one point but I've been tracking my levels a few times a day myself and they aren't good. My dietician insists I have gestational diabetes. So I'm just trying to combat it with diet.

I can't believe it's been 6 weeks, G22! He's so cute.
I have my 32w appointment this morning too. It just feels like one more annoying thing to do at this point.
We're back in our house, such as it is. The mitigation crew did a great job cleaning up, so it's livable, but I'm already starting to miss walls and internal doors. Oh well. At least I can cook decent meals and do laundry. We should get a better idea later today of when they can start reconstruction.
19 weeks today. The only appointment I have this week is a dental cleaning (today). I had an early glucose test last Tuesday but they still haven't called me with results. I'm hoping no news is good news! I'm giving them until tomorrow and then I'll call to see what the deal is.

Thanks
I'm glad your back in your house. I hope the reconstruction can get underway soon!
10w2d today. I'm throwing up a LOT more now . The only thing that sounds good to eat--ever--is Cheerios and bread. We ran out of Cheerios this weekend and I asked H if he would run to the store and get some. He said, "Ugh, I don't want to run all the way to the store just for one thing," and I batted my eyelashes and replied, "Well, I don't want to go through misery for the next nine months just for one baby, but I don't make the rules." Needless to say, I was enjoying a bowl of Cheerios within the hour. lol.
31w1d today. No appointments until next Friday for and ultrasound. I'm feeling fairly confident that baby is head down so I'm hoping that's actually the case and it stays that way. This stupid cold is evolving and I'm so exhausted.

Sorry you're feeling so awful but the ending of the Cheerio story cracked me up. I hope it starts chilling out soon

My morning sickness disappeared awhile ago but today I feel so crappy! WTH... isn't 2nd tri supposed to be the easy one?!?!
G22, what's your plan to get back into running? Run/walk and see how it goes? I can't even imagine starting all over again, but I don't want to give it up.
33 weeks tomorrow, and my body aaaaches. I feel like I don't have a lot of great updates these days Our birth class was cancelled this weekend because the doula who does the class had a client go into pre-term labor. Hoping we can reschedule soon.

I am 9 weeks today! Last Wends I had the scariest night ever. I got home and had heavy bleeding. We rushed to the emergency room and to my relief baby was still there with a strong and steady heartbeat. The still don't know why I had all the bleeding, but assigned me 3 days bed rest. I went for a follow up appt at my OB and although baby was measuring 2 days behind my calculations the OB says baby is fine and everything looks good. Updated due date is 07/12/16.
I'm 14.5 and no appointments until next week when I see the OB for the first time. I've been feeling pretty tired still but otherwise not too bad. I am still feeling the baby bopping around in there from time to time which is reassuring.
So I've talked to all the docs and everyone agrees I need a section at 39w if I don't go into labor by 38w, womp womp. I guess I will see if I can schedule that today.

Upside: At least you'll save some money with a 2015 baby? Sorry it wasn't the news you wanted.

Sorry Boiler. I know that isn't what you were hoping for.

This is very true!! And mentally I appreciate the deadline too.
I am swamped at work. I oversee a good size staff and myself and the two managers that report to me are all pregnant. The first manager went out on leave this morning. I'm anxiously awaiting her good news. The second goes out in January and I follow right behind. Everyone is trying to get everything done for end of year and I have two more huge meetings and an event this week. Needless to say our big boss is freaking out. His wife was talking to us at his Christmas party last night saying "he'll never hire women again in senior roles because of how many of you are going out on leave at the same time." Nice. Considering the fact that we see him once a week for a few hours, this has virtually no impact on him. Asshat.

wow KB - did she think she was making small talk? ^o) because, not actually funny boss's wife.
boiler717 - I know it's not what you pictured, but I feel like having everything scheduled will ease some of the anxiety.
I was looking at the post-it earlier and it's crazy how many babies are coming, and soon too!
10w6d today - H and I both have colds and I feel terrible. Sinus headache and stuffy nose, and I had terrible sleep last night because I slept on the couch. H was all stuffed up and couldn't breathe so his snoring was awful. Ugh. I'm considering leaving after lunch and going to work from home and try to get some sleep.

My hair is getting mousy and gross. I was planning on dyeing it in the next couple of weeks, and I'm getting conflicting reports on the Google about whether or not it's safe. Is it really better to wait until the second trimester? Damnit, I've got some Christmas parties to go to and I'm too vain to look plain, man.

for me it was, only because my anxiety was SO high i just knew i'd have made myself insane with worry. i honestly don't think it will hurt anything to do it whenever...and i have a splenda in my decaf coffee every morning, so clearly my worries are pick and choose, lol.

I got mine done at 9 weeks because I had it scheduled and I needed it. Went to the OBs office last week and they were going over the dos and donts list and she said "coloring your hair is ok" and I was just like good because I've already done it and don't feel guilty! Wheeee!!!
G22 what's your plan for running? How are feeding and sleeping going? @ursulabuffy I hope the diet helps! I'm glad you are back home cactuscookie! KB I want to kick your boss and his wife. What ass hats.
I'm getting my hair colored while I drink a Diet Coke. WAHOOO!!

She was pretty drunk, drinking champagne out of a crystal Waterford flute while her guests were having Trader Joes wine in red solo cups. They keep it klassy.
