Also, I did not know Sulwhasoo had sheet masks. Ehrmagerd!
im "working" in quotes because it's unpaid. No work visa.
I'm coming to the U.S. in mid-june and im happy to bring all the things with me and save you guys some money. I live 3 subway stops from the skin care/makeup Mecca. June is far away but I'll ask again closer to in case there is something you guys want.
omg. So frustrating Hopefully you can at least use it in a resume or portfolio or whatnot.
OMG I have a serious headache after perusing the rose rose site. THERE'S TOO MUCH!!!!
I know! I had the same feeling when I looked at Jolse's site too. I'm just so overwhelmed with the choices that my brain shuts down and I have to go.
I haven't even placed my Memebox order and I'm already annoyed with them. I've tried on three devices, all of which generate a new code, to use my 20% referral and every time the website rejects it and says it's not valid. I emailed customer service and they just asked me to refresh and try again which still isn't working, jerkfaces. I neeeeeed my Scinic Honey All in One and Cosrx Rice Overnight mask.
I finally searched by what I needed (snail mucus, eye crap, blackhead destroyer, AHA and BHA) and that helped. But so many of the essence descriptions sounded the same, it's hard to know what they do!
pixy0stix ,where did you order the Biore sunscreen from?
Amazon! Pretty much everything asian skincare related is coming from amazon.
I am clearly choosing the wrong seller, then. Mine won't be here for 3 weeks bc apparently they have to strap it to a turtle's back to ship it across the pacific. ?

I've found Snow White and the Asian pear, and fiddy shades of snails really good for helping me pick products. And with my RRS order I bought $40 worth of samples. I figured if I was going to order a few I might as well go big! I tried OST vitamin C last night and I'm in love. My skin felt so freaking amazing, I kept waking up all night and touching my face! pantsparty and maryanne - weird question but do you think curology would work for an area other than my face? My rear is my problem area and I'm so sick of it
My RRS order includes ; OST Vit C Sulwhasoo Hydroaid Serum Skinfood Black Sugar First Serum Etude Darling Plus Repairing Emulsion Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence Benton Steam Cream Missha Time Revolution Cream and a bunch of other stuff! i also have a derm appt today and I'm interested in what she has to recommend for my wrinkles.
That's what my derm said, too! Actually, she said "probably Botox or injections. Maybe a peel or laser resurfacing. You'd have to have a consult to see exactly what is recommended. Consults are $100!" It felt like a racket, honestly.
I got an order from Koreadepart last night. It had three of my ljh tea tree oil essences in it, one ljh vita propolis ampoule, j.one jelly pack, ciracle pimple solution pink powder. I just checked their site again and they have the vita propolis ampoule super cheap, so I may order a few more to stock up on. I prefer this propolis over cosrx or scinic though I did finish all of them. Scinic is a close second. With the ljh, it's very small so I just add three drops in my hand to my tea tree essence and apply together.
Here is my routine.... I might be doing these in a horrible order, it's hard when I want to use all the things.
Am -
Fresh soy cleanser Pc 2% bha wait 10 minutes Alternate between Benton bha toner and cosrx skin returning a-sol Missha time revolution first essence Ljh tea tree 90 essence with ljh vita propolis ampoule Cosrx racist (galactomyces white power) essence Sunscreen (I have a million biore options and a shiseido that I use)
Sometimes in a hurry I will skip everything after the toner and use Shara shara all in one berry ampoule, but I prefer the longer routine
Pm Botanic farm grain ferment cleansing sherbet Rose cleansing stick Cosrx skin returning asol (sometimes skip An active here (last night it was cosrx aha 7 whitehead power liquid) Benton aloe bha skin toner Missha first essence Tea tree essence with vita propolis ampoule Holy snails shark sauce Then after this step it varies. I tried the j.one jelly pack here last night and that was it. Usually I use sn-t cream and a sleeping pack ( I have four that I rotate)
I am also tempted to show a picture of my mask collection I took inventory of it about a month ago and laid it all out on my bed, I was almost embarrassed. Almost

Mine went through it all there. She said it would be 14 injections for just my forehead (I don't have lines between my brows) and they're $10 ea. If I did need the brow lines it would be another 16 (it's a larger muscle there). I'm not opposed to it eventually, but I'm *only* 38 and starting something that I need to maintain every 4ish months seems like way too much work right now. But I have heard it's really common for derms to try and sell botox. Unfortunately within asian beauty I don't find a lot about correct wrinkles. Preventing them, yes, but not erasing them
How long did shipping take? I was thinking of ordering from them but didn't know anything about them.
A long time it feels like. This was my first order with them. I ordered on Jan 20th, it shipped on Jan 25th and I chose EMS shipping option. So about three weeks. The vita-propolis ampoule was 23 at the time, now it's 11. Prior to this I have never seen it under 22. So they do have good sales occasionally if you are cool with waiting for your stuff.

I don't want to erase all the wrinkles necessarily. I'm 40 fucking years old; I'm SUPPOSED to have wrinkles, and damnit I earned them - lol. But I inherited the "cheek" wrinkles from my mom. When I smile, they extend all the way down my face. That's the real reason I have RBF.

I did Botox for my forehead line about a year ago. It was the best thing I ever did for my self-esteem. Amazing. Too bad I can't really afford it.
That said, I'm loading up my Amazon cart right now with all sorts of Asian skincare shit right now. God help my bank account.

Re: Curology, I'm thinking no because you have to send pics in of your problem areas, front, left and right sides. Maybe you can email their customer service to ask?
Did you mention this to your derm? Have you tried OTC stuff back there?
I shouldn't laugh at your situation but now I feel like I'm asking you for a lot of info on your butt. lol sorry

My derm has given me stuff for it before, but it basically just dries the whole area out so I can't break out. I don't feel like it really fixes the problem (and it makes me so itchy that I can barely function). I've tried all sorts of "active" body washes and lotions with aha in them, but again they make me so dry. And now that I know all about the moisture barrier I'm wondering if I'm doing the wrong thing. But some of it is definitely hormonal, it never goes away but it gets way worse during certain times of the month. It's really quite ridiculous ETA - I emailed them. I can't believe I just wrote an email about my butt acne
Can someone recommend a good lotion/cream for dehydrated/oily skin?
Also, my stepMIL randomly gave me a konjac sponge about 6 months ago and thanks to this thread I finally opened it and used it last night. I LOVE IT!
Does anyone use prescription retin-A (tazorac) as part of an AB routine? When would you apply it?
I like the sn- t cream, but not sure where to get it now. I got it from memebox. I only use at night though.
For me, after using some essences and ampoules, etc... I find that I don't really need a lotion/cream. My oily skin seems to like the hydration from the more liquid and gel serums instead of a traditional moisturizer/cream.

Oh hey there, face friend! I'm also oily/dehydrated and it's a PITA. I'm still trying to find the right cream but I can't give enough love to my Goodal Lasting Water Oil. I apply it after my essence before I start my moisturizers and it's made a huge difference in my skin. I've also started using the Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream as a final step at night.

Well, the prescription I have right now has Tretinoin, and it is VERY drying. So likely you will encounter the same issue.
I also...well...I don't know, $20 per month seems a little steep for my butt. LOL. The thing is, I don't know if I will do Curology long-term, because I think a tube of Tretinoin, which is really the active ingredient, can be obtained more cheaply from your derm. What makes Curology unique is their blends, but I don't know if you really need niacinamide on your ass
One lotion I've recently tried that is VERY moisturizing is the CeraVe Healing Cream (blue tube). It feels kind of like Aquaphor, but it hasn't broken me out at all. Maybe you need a heavier moisturizer like that on top of your treatments? Have you tried Adapalene? It's supposed to be gentler than Tretinoin.
Have you tried a low pH face wash on your butt? I really love the Tosowoong enzyme cleanser. It's pretty inexpensive and lasts forever.

curology told me no But said if I got a membership for my face they would talk to me about OTC things for my arse (evidently you shouldn't use rx on large body areas). I think I am going to try a low ph wash, some acids and a good cream (thanks for the rec) - maybe if I treat it a little better it will thank me

I really think using gentler products has helped my acne! Totally counter-intuitive from what I learned growing up (like oil is the DEVIL!) but my acne has been clearing up more quickly since I started on this routine.

I'm trying not to blow our budget on makeup/skincare for the 7th month in a row, so I'm just hear to read about your new purchases and share my skincare routine. I only use a few AB products, but lately I've been liking:
am: Fresh soy cleanser w/ clarisonic (sensitive brush) Andalou Naturals Turmeric + C Enlighten Serum Acure Organics Day Cream (primer has SPF)
pm: Rice Water Bright Cleansing Light Oil Fresh soy cleanser sheet mask 2x/wk Corsx AHA 2x/wk rotate: Tretinoin and Paula's Choice BHA every other night Acure Organics argan oil Air Repair Complexion Boosting Moisturizer,
does anyone have a rec for a very moisturizing sheet mask? I wasn't impressed by the tony moly set.
Memebox has finally gotten themselves off my shit list and let me use my referral code. My Scinic Honey All In One Ampule, Cosrx Ultimate Nourishing Rice Overnight Spa Mask, and Acne patches are on their way. Those patches can't get here soon enough because the purge is real and making me crazy.

My derm sells a bottle for $40 (not sure offhand what size) and it usually lasts me 4 months or so.
