Leaning Hillary, but haven't totally made up my mind.
In MD the Republican Party has an open primary, so technically I could choose to vote in that primary instead of the Dem one (can't do both), but I'm not big on playing spoiler this year. I did vote McCain in the '00 primary, because Gore was a given.
I did not know this. I registered Dem just so I could vote in a primary, but maybe I will vote in the R primary instead.
I am still undecided on a Dem though right now it is O'Malley>Clinton>>>>>>>>>Sanders
Actually, I shouldn't throw this around as fact. I think I was unaffiliated in '00, and it's possible that the parties have decided differently for this election.
But I'm also very interested in the Dem down-ticket races this time around. Chris Van Hollen, my House rep, is running for Senate, and then there's the primary race for that seat that he's vacating.
ETA - ok, yeah, I checked. Sorry, MD is a closed primary for both parties this year. ballotpedia.org/Open_primary
Come on people!!! The Trump voter is one of these two: (1) Lying (2) Ain't dumb enough to rattle the hornets nest by coming out!!
Haha! I would be terrified to out myself on this board as a Trump supporter! (Which I'm not). Scary enough to out myself as a Bernie supporter! (Which I am). *runs and hides*
If I was voting in the R primary I'd consider voting for Trump if it was down to him and Cruz. I hate Cruz more. I think he's more evil somehow.
I vote next month and I don't think the R primary will be down to two people yet so I'm probably voting in the D primary for HRC. I had planned to vote in the R for the most reasonable but it seems to me I might as well accept that it's going to be Trump or Cruz.
That said, why wouldn't you register for a party? Even if you don't agree or identify with one, you're actively opting out of the chance to cast a vote.
Because I am a working journalist.
When my friend was a journalist in FL, he registered himself for the Surfer Party of FL for that reason.
I've never voted in a primary because I've never lived in a state that matters. It is a system I do not understand. Hoping the states that do decide this pick HRC though.

Are there not other important state elections being held at the same time?
Yes, probably. I guess I should have said, I have no memory of ever voting in a primary because that particular vote didn't matter. I do usually vote in general. Presidential primaries have just always been a non-issue in states I've lived in, was my poorly made point.
I'm planning on cacausing for Hillary and I'm nervous as hell!!!! I've never been to a cacaus (because I've never needed to) but I'm scared of the rah rah Bernie Bros, so I'm going this year. I will definitely be asking for tips and arguments and counter-arguments when it gets closer.

Well, someone did say they would vote for Trump if Hillary had it in the bag because she thought there was no way he could beat Hillary. Or something like that. But the lack of explanation makes me think that's not the case with those now TWO votes.
I wouldn't come forward if I was actually a Trump supporter, either, but from my understanding of Trump supporters, they aren't exactly smart or shy in their support. I heard he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and not lose a single voter...

This sounds like the beginning of a Chuck Norris joke.
I am an independent who would consider voting R if there was a single moderate candidate. The folks up there are so ridiculous, pandering to the extreme right that it is impossible to take any of them seriously.
I'm not a Trump supporter. I never was, but will vote for an R in the main election. I am hoping it will not come to that. I am not Telly impressed with any of them. I'll choose Rubio in the primary if I vote R (see PP as to why I may vote D).
If you would actually vote for Trump, then on some level you are indeed a Trump supporter.
Not sure. I'm registered as undecided so I can pull either a D or R ballot. If there is a chance to vote for Bernie so he may lose the election I may do so. Otherwise I will probably vote for Rubio.
I hate this shit. One of the candidates will be Pres. Vote for a)who you would support, or b) who will do the least damage in your eyes.

It's all part of "the game."
Anyway, I am in MA so the general election will go D anyway. Though I do think ballot questions and local elections are important so I will always vote no matter what.
This is the fucking problem RIGHT HERE.
The leadership of this country isn't a fucking GAME.
If Bloomberg announces, I'm going to back him. I may even buy some lawn signs, car stickers (I won't actually use the stickers on my car) buttons, raglan shirts, and a tote bag.
I will also volunteer for his campaign if he has an LA or OC office that is near me.
Bloomberg, get into the game, I beg of you!
This is how I feel. When I heard he might, I felt so much relief. This Trump business is scaring the fuck out of me.
