So I've spent at least four hours today trying to read through old relevant posts, specifically keyed in on the way in which WOC are treated in posts - @kirkette in particular, given the recent mega posts. To say it is eye opening is an understatement - it's horrifying. I can't say that I would have found them as blatantly offensive if I were reading them in real time - that's a failing on my part and reflects the work I need to do to recognize and speak up when I see microaggressions or - in many recent cases - outright racist comments or actions. I will strive to do better.

For anyone who didn't read original threads or doesn't quite follow what the backstory is, take some time and read. And pay attention. It is shameful. Smo, again, I'm so sorry someone did this to you. It's absolutely revolting and indeed, proves *exactly* the ENTIRE FUCKING POINT that the WOC have been trying to make here.

You might be right, I can't remember. But then how would someone from GBCN know her name and address? She would have to tell them her name for them to come up with an address. Either they are not from GBCN at all or it should be really easy to figure out who they are.
