You ever get overtired. It's like your body knows you need sleep, but it will just not come, like you're overstimulated or something. That's me. I've been up since four, and I desperately want to go to sleep, especially, since I have a really early and long day tomorrow. Ugh.
Update on my dog. Diagnosed with separation anxiety. Given Prozac. Hopefully this will work.
Good luck.
Did the vet mention those plug-ins or calming sprays. We tried the thundershirt with my dog. It worked okay, but I think I ended up putting it on at the wrong time, and it became a negative connection for him.
I got a book called I'll Be Home Some that gave some good tips, when I was dealing with SA with my dog.

No, she didn't. But I might give them a try. Can't hurt. I am leery about the Thundershirt and leaving him in it all day when we aren't home.

Yeah, mine never tore it off during the day, but I was leery too. He just destroyed other stuff . Poor bud.

I'm sure this totally depends on your dog, but Rocko likes his sweaters, shirts, and coats. He'll keep them on all day with no problem. He also had bad separation anxiety when I first adopted him, but he's gotten much better having a routine with us. He was still crazy while I was in the hospital and when I first came home but he calmed down in a few days. I hope the meds help and your pup settles in to your new place post move soon. Hugs and good luck.
