Can I still play? I love seeing "real" houses (not blog staged ones)! Our room is small and we just got a new comforter, which is wrinkly as fuck because I just wanted it on the bed and didn't want to steam it. I'll do that later, maybe, lol.

I'm thinking about painting it a shade darker than the headboard and hanging the mirror, otherwise I'm pretty happy with it. It's a tiny room, it's hard to get pictures.
I love all this inspiration from real houses. Although a few look like they came out of a magazine. Like Jalapeñomel, I'm in a NY apartment. Our bedroom is teeny--we have a queen size (ikea framed) bed and 2 night tables and we're at maximum capacity. House hunting is on the horizon, so maybe I can "adult" soon too.
You know that apartment you had when you first graduated from college, and your mattress and box spring were on the floor and mismatched furniture? That's my bedroom, except there's two dog kennels in there too and a tiny desk with a iMac on it.
We got our bed off the floor about 6 weeks ago but the furniture description is dead on. We have the added charm of having ripped up our carpet without replacing the flooring, so I have linoleum tiles in my bedroom for now.

We are house hunting now, and it's soooo stressful and annoying!

How do you people live without black out curtians?
No pictures of my room. Imagine a space with the same dimensions of a queen bed, but just one foot wider so you can just barely get into bed and don't have to jump from the doorway. And add black out curtains.

Mine are blackout. I HATE when I travel and rooms aren't dark!
I love your bedroom! What is the color on your walls? It is exactly what I'm looking for
Thanks! Our painters had Sherwin Williams color match Behr's "Perfect Taupe." The trim is SW Extra White. We did this throughout the entire house and I LOVE it!
Ha, ours is too, but mostly because she's 16 and arthritic. The vet told me that orange cats are rarely female, so I thought maybe you had another exception! They are seriously identical
Mine is a triplet cat to yours. She's a Maine Coon cat with the same coloration. (courtneyloves)
teeah22, we have the same bedding, although our room is not at all finished so it looks much better in yours! What color paint did you use on your walls?
We have the same bedding! We need to find new bedroom furniture, but I think we're leaning towards SW Sea salt for the paint.
ETA: We're leaning towards a slight silvery grayish green for some color, but if you are looking for gray suggestions, we have SW Agreeable gray through the rest of the house & we really like it.

I have a cool cellular shade that is both blackout and sheer. Pull it all the way up for blackout and pull it down (or 1/2) for sheer. Love love love it!
