Easywdw readers, did Josh and Lisa break up? He hasn't mentioned her in months as far as I can remember.
Also, I hope standard rooms at the Poly open up for our dates/summer promo. Until then we've booked at BWI. May also switch to a CR garden wing if one opens up.
I don't read easywdw but I'm trying to figure out if Pete & Walter (dis unplugged) divorced. It would seem so? I read a rumor somewhere that he was actually with Dustin? And whatever happened to Shaun?!
I really hope it's true that anyone staying on DVC points at the Grand Cali doesn't have to pay for parking. We aren't DVC members, just renting.

I've been wondering that about Pete & Walter too! He made a joke about going on a dating app not too long ago. I hadn't seen the Dustin rumor - that is juicy!
Yea, I don't really see the Dustin thing at all, thought it was pretty random. I'm sad Dustin is gone, though.
While he doesn't have to tell anyone that he's single; it does leave lots of people wondering when all you hear is walter, walter, walter, we're getting married, woohoo, walter, walter for months.

Self parking is included with the room but if you want valet parking you will have to pay for it. Just be aware that the self parking lot is across the street from the hotel.
ETA- if you will be here Nov 11-13 that is the Avengers Half Marathon weekend. Self parking for the Grand will have limited access so they advise anyone who needs to use their cars to self park at the Disneyland Hotel.
We have a Wishes FP+ for Easter Sunday. Glad we're going before they're done because I do not have the patience to wait an hour for a parade or fireworks.
Lol I didn't mean it was bad! I just was uncertain as to why. Is it sad? Beautiful? Like I said I don't think I've seen the Wishes show, just fireworks in the 90s and Hallowishes.
I have no idea. Memories and nostalgia maybe?
It's that little girls voice " Allll your wishes willl come truuuuuueee"

I cried during Wishes the first time we took DD1 when she was 11 months. She was our rainbow baby after two miscarriages and our last Disney trip had been a somewhat last minute trip planned after my first miscarriage and I had my 2nd miscarriage 3 weeks before our trip.

I just came across my KTTW card from my trip 10 years ago. Clearly I'm either too sentimental to part with it or a hoarder. I think it's probably a bit of both.

I have every KTTW, paper parking pass, pin, etc we've gotten in the past 9 years of going. I call it my Disney box. It entertains my kids now!
I just listened to a WDW Tonight podcast & they had him on as a guest to talk about Flower & Garden. He made mention of her teasing him about how he mispronounces things, so maybe they are still together. I thought of this thread when I heard that.

When we were at MK a few years ago, right after we walked into the park, we were standing around and one of those old timey firetrucks pulled up near us and the driver started cracking jokes at my BIL and ended up asking our group if we wanted to ride in the back of the truck up to the castle. We did and it was awesome and I got a little teary eyed over how perfect it was.
No electrical parade or fire works? Is that normal or bc of the Christmas crap? (Sorry if his had been discussed I'm just starting to read)
For some reason those haven't been showing up immediately when they release the schedule, but they add them in later. Other than the days closing early for the Christmas party, they should get them scheduled eventually.
Sorry for resurrecting an old-ish thread, but I just read about the 12-day British Isles cruise and I have a new dream vacation. How can I get approximately $20K for a vacation without robbing a bank?
