And the royal blue outfit at the Bollywood dinner in India.
The Taj Mahal outfit was great!
The Queen of Bhutan gave Kate a necklace and she wore it on the flight out of Bhutan.
The king and queen of Bhutan named their baby and shared a pic, btw. How cute is he?? ("The Gyalsey" is his title as Crown Prince.)
Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck:
Jigme means fearless. It symbolizes great courage to overcome any challenge that he may confront in future as he serves our country.
Namgyel means victorious in all directions and victory over all obstacles. It is a name taken from the revered Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel, who enabled the Dharma to flourish in all directions as prophesied by Guru Rinpoche.
Wangchuck is the name of the royal lineage and dynasty.

I love every single one of those outfits!!! (Except the boob pocket one.) I missed the second white dress (the one right before the gorgeous Taj Mahal one), and I love it.
And I'm late to this discussion, but oh my gosh to the hiking while perfectly coiffed. That poor woman. I'm curious, though: the expectation to appear stylish and put together for the whole hike -- do you think that's a real expectation and the palace would have frowned on her having her hair in a pony tail and wearing actual hiking clothes? Or do you think she just doesn't want to deal with the tabloid photos of her looking sweaty with captions like, "KATE'S JUST LIKE US!!"
Do those of you who know fashion feel like she's upped her game since she hired her stylist?

I missed the second white dress too but I think she only wore it to leave Bhutan. I could be wrong though. I really like it.
I think the palace would have frowned if she's shown up in some yoga pants, a lulu zip up, and some sneakers but I think The Firm would have been ok with her having a pony tail, and she's worn hiking style boots before so I'd think they were ok. I'd imagine the majority of it is her knowing these photos will be everywhere and that a pic of her looking bad would be around forever. One of the royal reporters was tweeting that he thought they might have stopped for a moment before reaching the top of the hike to refresh her (reporters were only at the top, middle, and bottom). I don't know if I believe that but I couldn't blame her if she did.
I feel like she really has to toe a line with fashion. If she goes too "classic royal" - aka the coat dresses, for example - too often she gets crap for looking too dowdy. But you know if she went too high fashion she'd get crap for spending too much money, "Kate only thinks about clothes", she's not appropriate for her position, etc. That said, she nailed it on this trip (minus the flap dress). So yes, I think the new stylist is a huge help. I also wonder if maybe she's possibly letting her true tastes come out a bit and not just dressing how she thinks she "should" if that makes sense. Like, she's realizing she doesn't have to always dress the way the queen would, she can wear the occasional thing that she likes. as long as it's appropriate. Like the moto pants on the safari, for example.
