She did the Becca thing and Becca used a crappy company for the palettes and people were complaining about it. She basically denounced Becca on snapchat claiming she had no idea and she actually only created one shade in the palette.

I like her and I sometimes follow her on snapchat, but she's just coming off as whiny and insincere to me right now. 

she was all in, sequin dress, vegas flight, videos pushing the products, pointing out her name written all over them and talking about her fav shades... you can't go back later and then say you really had no involvement after all. just say you f*cked up.

I feel very strongly that this is on her. When you lend your name for something it's on you to make sure it's something you aren't embarrassed to be associated with. Funny how after surely she cashed her check she's starting to say all this, not when she did rounds of testing and had the product before distribution.
She knows her minions will do whatever she wants though so it's probably easy for her to come off like this at this point.

I literally just heard about the guru gossip board yesterday and then read all of the Tati threads because I have a real love/hate relationship with her and I wanted to see if anyone could dig up what the fuck James does all day, and I was honestly surprised at just how venomous they were. And spewing total nonsense (guys, James is not transitioning, k?). Also, their site is complete garbage. I have to try like 6 times to load pages.

ulta has the tarte double duty beauty palettes on sale for 19 bucks (normally 28) for platinum members today only. not a bad price, they each had 5 shadows and a blush. look like they would be great for traveling.

I went to Sephora today. I couldn't get into the Spectrum palette so I exchanged it for the new ABH one, which is stunning.

Also they had a full UD lipstick display. It was beautiful.

I think its gorgeous. I really love warm pinks and oranges, so this was up my alley. It's mostly matte, which was a nice break from my preference for heavy shimmer palettes.

I can update you later this week once I've had a chance to play with it.

The good news is that it's permanent.

If you have a chance to get a sample of the new benefit goof proof eyebrow pencil it's awesome! I got a big sample from Ulta. The tip is the perfect shape and angle and it never needs sharpening.

Has anyone tried the Skin Inc Pure Revival Peel? I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but both times I've used it, I've been left with a sticky/gritty residue, even after rinsing it off and then scrubbing with a washcloth. It's quite possibly the worst skincare product I've ever used, so it's going right back to Sephora. They'll take it back, right?

Update: the Anastasia Modern Renaissance palette is fantastic. Everything is super pigmented and blendable. The shadow are a bit powdery, but not in a bad way. They are still buttery. Reminds me of Lorac, at least my Unzipped palette anyway.

My one complaint is that I wish one of the lighter or midtone shades was peachy or rose-gold type shimmer. There's a few mattes that are so similar to each other, and it needs one more pigmented shimmer to be truly perfect. But it's still a pretty great standalone palette.

If anyone is looking for ideas on how to spend their Ulta coupon, consider it!

I picked up St Tropez tanning foam, and it's awesome!! If anyone is looking for a great fake and bake, try it out!
