I expect that there was a long list of complaints against this guy. He isn't the most brilliant. I'm guessing this was just the final straw, and I happened to be involved in a minor way.. so I was invested. Haha.
Probably any reporters are like 'about damn time!!!'

Are you friendly with the other managers? I would love to know if they all forwarded to HR!!!
What do you want to bet that later this week he's having beers with his dude bros and is just utterly flabbergasted that he was fired. He won't understand what was so wrong about what he said, and why he was the one that was fired when clearly this was all her fault for "lying."
Kudos to HR for acting swiftly and removing this asshat.
And a million *place that must not be named* points to Leviosa for spectacular story telling and follow up.
Dude, your company gets more shit taken care of in 4 hours than mine would have in 4 days. That is awesome. Peace out, motherfucker.
Exactly. It took us TWO YEARS to fire a professor for plagiarism. As in, he wrote a book made entirely of pages from other books and sold it to his students. TWO YEARS. And he wasn't even tenured.
The fuck??!
Out of all the wtf?! going on in this thread, this is what made me stop short. What?!
I'm so curious. Was he pretty quiet when he left or did he go all Jerry Maguire?
I also wanna know if he was ashamedly stumbling down the hall staring at his box while sweating slightly or if he was making eye contact, nodding his C-ya's. Was he still in denial/ acting shocked/ like he'd done no wrong? Or was he beginning to shrink in that cocky, masculine pride just a bit? (There's no in between ) And agreed, take PRIDE, OP! Spectacular job!!
I am glad he got fired. I am pretty sure this wasn't his first offense. I bet he will never understand why he got fired. Otherwise he would have never sent that dumb email. I am glad he was a dumb asshole otherwise he would have fired the admin. Joke's on you asshole!
I started reading this at work and then meetings happened so I had to wait 3 whole hours before finishing. It was agony. I am so happy now. Thank you for A+ storytelling!!
Okay for real, I thought I was crazy but I looked in your post history and you talked about quitting your job in December and then had a recent one about how you can't be away from your baby for more than three hours because he only nurses. Am I losing my mind? OR ARE YOU A LIAR?
Lol. I am sure there is a good explanation, but drama would be fun too.

Well, damn. I can't say I'm surprised. It all seemed a bit too contrived to me.

Invested lurker chiming in....and in the December post, you said you were a receptionist. But now you're a manager?
I want this to be real, but it's probably not likely that you went from not coming back from ML in December to your receptionist job>>coming back but nursing on demand>>promoted to a managerial position.
Lol. I'm just waiting for the day ML tells some nutter to burn it down, and they actually do.
And even if this does turn out to be true, none of this was remotely believable, so I remained uninterested throughout. Now my four brown mirrors? That was a saga for the ages.
