I hesitate even writing this after reading some of your horror stories (omg I'm so sorry) but I don't think it's that bad. It's not even really itchy anymore, just swollen. I just showered with some hippie poison ivy soap my FIL bought at a trade show so maybe that's helping? I'll at least wait until tomorrow to see if anything else pops up before going to the doctor.
Ow! You poor thing!! Urgent care ASAP! And don't use your regular makeup brushes. Get cheapo ones at the store that you don't mind throwing away.
Also, this sounds terrible, but wash your face with Dawn dish soap. It gets rid of the oils. My dad is really allergic and gets poison ivy literally every time he mows the lawn. He keeps Dawn dish soap in the bathtub so when he gets a shower after mowing he can try to get as much of the oil off as he can.
Thanks guys. I'm adding everything your mentioning to a shopping list and sending H out once we get back from the dr. I think we're going to postpone the weekend to next weekend. I'm just so disappointed.
This is before the Zanfel that I talked about. The next day, (I don't have a pic), all the crustiness, oozing was gone and I would estimate the swelling went down by at least 50%. I did it again and the following day, her face was slightly red - no raised patches, no swelling, etc.

I've looked like that but worse before and yes the shot works wonders and I also had been given eye drops. I looked much better by the next day and at least I could hide it better.
Have the steroids. I can't nurse with them and I have to take them for 10 days. I'm nursing Viv right now because this might be our last time. I might have cried.
