This is still my first week, but I'm loving it. I have a leucgtturm journal that seems to be the perfect size. Pens have been tricky though, I'm using a Uniball signo, but I'm worried its going to bleed through the other side, so might need to change.
Haven't started any list pages yet, just future, monthly and weekly log.
Habit tracker is my favorite, right now i'm including it on my weekly log, but might switch to monthly for September. Definitely keeps me more accountable.
Also, liking having meal planning on the weekly log, but might also start a master list of what works. I'm finding that I'm usually putting what we ate the next day, but at least I'll be able to look back an remember when we had what. Meals are a struggle for me.

I'm not sure what to do with washi tape?
I use it strictly for decoration. Marking important pages, etc. That's about it. Oh and covering up booboos.

gerberdaisy, when I meal plan, I make a list of what meals we want/have stuff for that week, and then just list them with a checkbox. Then the next day, after we eat it, I mark that it's "done", and I know what meals we have left.

My habit tracker isn't as motivating as I was hoping I have 4 goals each day, and so far in August, I'm at 50%. Womp womp.
Also, I've been guilty of still taking notes on another piece of paper or sticky note and then transferring it to my journal after I figure out where it needs to go. I know that's not the intent, so I'm hoping as I figure out what layouts work for me, I'll do that less.

It's day 3! You've got time! Set a realistic goal for each habit. Like, flossing, I picked 15 days. I'm not gonna do it every day, ADA says I don't have to

I know, but I've been tracking for 3 weeks now. I really want to set aside 20 minutes before bed to read. But I always end up on here on my phone instead... then yell at myself the next day for not doing it.
Target has washi tape. I wish I did not learn this.
I bought 2 rolls from target. I have used it to put on the edge of certain pages to mark them. I love it. It is so easy to use. You have me addicted to all of this. I did not know how well i would do, but it is working for me so far.

Sorry not sorry?
It's been so helpful for me I am glad others are also finding it to be positive.
Thanks all, I'm sucked in. Haha. H sells promotional products so he brought me a small journal he had on his desk that has a spot for the pen on the cover I started a couple lists and made a "debts to pay off" section. I saw an example with savings goals and thought it worked perfectly to help visualize our debts. It's nice to have a visual for the progress! I also want to make a habit tracker each month for things like reading, cleaning tasks, working out, etc. As soon as I started reading up on bullet journals I realized how perfect this is for me. I love making lists but then I forget where they are or waste paper making another list of the exact same thing again. Now it's all in one spot!
Predictably, I've very quickly gotten totally out of the habit of using mine at all. I need to get back on track! I get overwhelmed because I want to make it pretty but I'm super not artistically gifted. But no artistic detail is boring, so I just bail altogether. Boo.
Washi tape, stickers and colorful pens make mine fun and decorative. I also use colorful tabs from post it that can be repositioned. I am not at all artistic.
What do you track on your habit trackers? So far I have reading and working out. I don't want to go crazy but I'm trying to think of other things I should do every day

Drinking enough water, flossing, taking my vitamin.

Ooh I like the idea of putting savings goals in there. We have one savings account and argue all the time what the money in there is actually for. I want to save cash for some new furniture!

I have trouble being an adult, so mine include:
make bed 15 minute clean exercise (just sit ups or planks count at this point!) 64 oz water laundry (one complete load) vitamins fun with boys (being more intentional about doing something fun with them...today it was playing catch outside) 5K steps (still post knee surgery, so can't push too much) make next day's to-do list address daily mail (don't just pile it up) water flowers

I'm right there with you on the trouble adulting. Haha. Good ideas!
estrellita, thanks for the Savings Goals idea! I just made a page for that. We are saving up for a play set for the kids. We are funding it mostly by selling crap. We currently have a bunch of stuff listed on Craigslist, but I'd like to get rid of a bunch more stuff. I made a little box to represent every $10 "saved" (made from sales). I'm hoping that seeing those fill in with encourage my boys to part with their stuff, too!

Sounds like this is what you're doing but here's the example I saw on Pinterest!

I feel the same way so I've been enjoying looking through pinterest for ideas as I watch tv. Doodling is fun for me but I'm not very artistic so I've found some pretty but simple spreads to try (&posted them upthread).
I am currently tracking flossing, drinking enough water, working out, no desserts, no extraneous shopping and tracking my food. I have a number of days per month for each as a goal. Flossing daily is not realistic lol
This is my daily work setup. I put my meetings down and then any daily notes below it. It's working well. I bought fancy colored pens but don't really love them. I'm so boring. I switched to one task list for the week. I was rewriting too much that didn't get accomplished when I did the task list daily.
