Our early voting started today. Normally I go to the courthouse near my work, but this year DS made me promise not to vote without him, so I will have to leave work early enough one day this week to pick him up and take him to the location in our neighborhood.

Ah! The ballot is so damn long, I'm still working on my research for all the down ballot voting. There are 12 open judge positions. I'm planning to vote this week though.
DH and I dropped off our ballots last night! Just adding to the majority of Democratic ballots that have been returned so far. So excited for election day results!
We voted this morning! For the first time in my county, we took numbers and sat while waiting for a ballot person to be open. We sat at 31, we were 40 and 41, it took *maybe* 2 minutes. The lady that checked my ID (ugh) and gave me my ballot said it gets busier after 5, but, it wasn't "not busy" by any means- they were just moving things along quickly.
I didn't see T*rump people anywhere- lots of Clinton people (in a purple FL county)! There was one likely T*rump voter in the "watching area".
I voted. I took DS1 with me since I was home with him for his fever. I kept him in the stroller. I voted straight D and then was in a bit of a hurry because DS was fussing but then I had a moment of panic right after I cast my ballot that maybe I accidentally voted incorrectly. Eeep!
DS and I just got back from voting at the library today; I made all the selections and he got to cast the ballot. I voted for Hillary then we went to the children's area where he chose Piggie over Elephant in the kids' election activities. Usually it's a quick thing but today the line was all the way out the door. Luckily it moved fast and I got to listen to the crazy lady ahead of us urge everyone to get a paper ballot if the machines because George Soros might erase all the votes for Trump.

I usually wait until election day because I like to take DS1 with me, but I may go vote early. My boss tried to go yesterday and said that people were parked across the street and walking over to vote it was so packed. He told me to take the time to vote this week if I wanted.
Thankfully I don't live in a swing state. It's all mail-in, and you get deemed inactive if you have a forwarding address. They couldn't figure out how to update my address this year. It worked for H, but not for me. Some glitch in my record. Boo! I was excited to vote for HRC.
I voted. I still have butterflies in my stomach. On the way down the elevator (alone...stroller) I literally laughed at the ridiculousness of it all. If you'd told me 12 months ago that I'd vote a straight Dem ticket, I would've thought you were high.
I didn't know what I was going to do until I got in there (other than my vote for Pres). I thought I'd probably pick all the Libertarian candidates available. But when I looked at the screen, I thought, No. Fuck you. Fuck all of you that got us to here. So I individually clicked every Democrat on that ballot. It feels surreal.
Oh, I saw my first Clinton/Kaine sign. And the woman behind me in line quietly said to her friend, "I hope these lines mean Hillary voters are coming out in droves." I leaned back and said, me, too.
And I wore blue. On purpose. I feel like such a rebel.

WA is all-mail voting, and this is the first year I've voted early. Usually I mail it on election day because I'm a lazy ass. But I wanted to do it earlier this year.
We don't get stickers! I'm going to make my own tonight and hand them out.
