Evan McMullin is on Don Lemon complaining about how the Republicans are blocking the investigation of Trump/Russia stuff. Then Don changed the subject. Wtf Don.
Either Trump paid off people OR the FBI really really really doesn't want Clinton in charge.
ETA: I wonder if the rumors that HRC has always been especially shitty to her SS detail have something to do with this.
Not just a rumor. I grew up in Westchester and an ex's brother in law is good friends with someone in her detail.
I've seen it with my own eyes, but you know rumors. And there is no way the SS and FBI are working together. Do people really think the fucked up communication and inability to work together changed after 9/11? The last people the FBI would do anything for without being made to is SS.
I don't know anyone who knows Hillary but I'm voting for her. I'd apologize in advance to the SS but as a former First Lady, I assume she was always going to have an SS detail so her being elected doesn't really change that.
Also, while I don't advocate or excuse treating people poorly, I find her more likable knowing she curses people out. I was honestly a little concerned she was actually a robot based on the extreme self control she has had during her campaign against Dorito.
Look I hate to harp on this because there is more important shit going on in this thread. But can a person not criticize Clinton because she is a woman? Look I voted for her. I wasn't enthusiastic at first but every time the Dumpster Fire opened his mouth I got more excited. I think she is the most qualified person ever to run for President. That does not mean that she is not above the normal level of mean to her detail. It doesn't mean that anyone who says so is a misogynistic asshole. Is she the only one? Hell no. Are there men who are worse? Hell yes. But are there men and women who are nice and treat their details like people? Yes, most of them.
Add in the fact that she goes above and beyond to be nice to her staff and remembers every detail about them and calls them on their birthdays and their parents birthdays and how loyal she is. Well, it makes the shitty treatment of her SS detail stand out even more.
But lets get back to the important shit like what the hell is going on in the FBI.
I think people can certainly criticize Clinton (and should. Despite what Lewandowski says about the FBI, I think we have a duty to criticize and question our government and our leaders, male or female.)
But I find this thread contained some leaps which is why people are side-eyeing it. It went from "I wonder if this is payback bc of those rumors" to "ITS NOT A RUMOR! I KNOW ITS TRUE BECAUSE I HEARD FROM MY BROTHER'S NEPHEW'S COUSIN'S FORMER ROOMMATE!" very quickly.
And I think the idea that the FBI is throwing the election bc Hillary is mean to her SS detail seems a bit far-fetched. I mean crazier things have happened, sure. So it's not impossible.
Likewise, I also find the idea that there is no way Hillary Clinton can be rude to her SS detail without such claims being labeled as sexism to be far-fetched as well. Of course she might be very rude to her SS detail. I'm sure many people are, and I'm sure many people are very nice to their detail.
While I may find it off-putting, I don't think the FBI would care about Hillary being rude to her security detail. This is about undercutting her power as president.
Every time I hear criticisms of Clinton based on her treatment of her Secret Service detail, I have two thoughts:
1) NOT SO SECRET, ARE YOU?
2) I'm sure sexism has never once colored a Secret Service agent's perception. Because we know there are no systemic issues with sexism within the Secret Service. Nope. None. Nada. I mean, where even IS Cartagena?
^Not the point. And full disclosure, I'm overwhelmed with life and am unable to completely process these FBI shenanigans. If you need me, I'll lying in bed and drinking wine directly from the box.

Edited to fix crazy spelling.
Speaking only for myself, that wasn't my issue in this thread. Granted, I take any story I hear about someone in the spotlight with a grain of salt because people exaggerate to make a better story. But here, something shitty happened to Hillary and a response of "maybe it's because she was a bitch to XYZ" TO ME has an air of "she deserved it." Like when a girl is raped and people are like "I wonder if he chose her because she walked alone." Bringing up HER actions, IN MY OPINION, is irrelevant and as HAPPENED here, distracts from the real story. I have no difficulty believing she can be a bitch. I just didn't find it relevant to this conversation.

Oh I completely agree with that point. It is ubsurd to think this has anything to do with her treatment of SS agents.
Oh I forgot I have my own "I know someone who knows her" anecdote!!!!!! Mine isn't juicy though. My person just says she's a wonderful person and "you would LOVE her." (and this person is opposite of her in almost all political beliefs so it isn't biased in that way)
I know one of Biden's SS agents. He's a hardcore conservative and speaks out against the whole Obama administration. But not because he personally dislikes any of them.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Hillary pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.
In the grander scheme of things (not even related to HRC), I do think it can be appropriate to talk about personal feelings that people have for people in power. See Trump running for President because he got his little feelings hurt by Obama. Not everything happens in a political vacuum. We're talking about real people here. Now back to HRC, we've talked about people being on Trump's team because they do not like the Clinton's for whatever reason (being married to so-and-so, etc.).
