I went to Nordstrom Rack today to buy a water bottle (yeah I know I'm lame) and they had a ton of last year's LE palettes/sets from Lorac, Too Faced, Smashbox, and Stila. Plus the UD Gwen Stefani eyeshadow and blush palettes.
oh man, i'm seriously regretting not getting the gwen blush palette and was looking on ebay for it - do you catch the price?
I've tried it a couple of times when browsing and both times my undereye cream felt so smooth and plumped. I'm having a really hard time finding an eye cream that I can use under concealer---the concealer often creases badly or smudges. Even when I try setting it with powder.

I made an appointment to get vascular therapy--just a laser to zap all my burst blood vessels and tiny capillaries. Then I might do a few serious peels. End goal is to not wear any foundation, BB creams, primer. Nada. It will take a couple years to come out even cost-wise in terms of how much I'll save on foundations and redness reducing products. But I'm committed.
I'll try to remember to post before and after pics of my cheeks.

It's amazing what a difference chemical peels and a few zaps make. I've had 3 peels and 1 IPL session and my skin has never looked better. I really want to get fillers injected under my eyes next so I don't always look like the walking dead.
nursewife , if you get the injections, please report back. I have thin skin that sinks in a little under my eyes and I hate it.
Mine is really thin there as well. I'm hoping to have it done in the next month or two. I've always been so self concious of how dark I look under my eyes, and since it's so sunken in, it's that much worse. I always have people telling me how tired I look regardless of how much I sleep. It's so frustrating!
I bought the LE WnW loose pigment in the rose gold shade on a whim at the drugstore the other day. $3 and this stuff is legit. I put a tiny bit on the back of my hand to apply and it lasts all day. Great color payoff. Highly recommend.

Ooh, I've thought about doing that too nursewife. I've read that you can also laser the under eye area to help diminish wrinkles and thicken skin in the sunken area. I'm going to talk to a cosmetic derm to ask about the differences.

I tried out the NYX micro brow pencil along with my powder and it's FABULOUS. Definitely made my brows look a lot more polished.
And I had fun yesterday. One of the young women on my hockey team is trying to get a new job. In her last job she didn't really need to look a certain way as she wasn't client facing. She's trying to get more client facing jobs so wanted to learn what products would work for her (doing a 5-10 min face) and how to use them. I gave her a lot of suggestions that aren't expensive and she really liked them. I gave her a complete makeover and she looked fabulous. It was fun!
Have you ever watched empties videos on Youtube and wonder how the fuck they go through so much product? Because that's what is totally on my mind right now. It's been a struggle for me to use stuff up these days.
Same. Don't love it. I hate all the perfume samples they send each month. It's like they just send ones that no one wants as a sample. I do not want to smell like pinecones......

Boo, that doesn't sound promising. I haven't gotten mine yet. I was really underwhelmed with last month's box.

I haven't watched the videos, but I wear the exact same face every day with the exception of maybe different shades from my LM Eyeshadow palette, but it's hard for me to finish something! I can't imagine for people who rotate everything!
If anyone needs a light coverage BB with physical sunscreen, and really liking the Maybelline BB dream (or something like that). I'm bit sure what the full color range is. I like that the sunscreen is titanium dioxide so if I'm needing to throw on a last minute face during the daytime hours, I at least know I have some sun protection right away

Oh thanks for this rec! Often on weekends, I will go for coffee and to the dog park before I shower and put on my full face. I need a cheap tinted SPF for that purpose. I'm just about out of the last of mine from The Balm and was hoping to find a good drug store one so I didn't have to wait for sales and pay HauteLook shipping.
Alert the Presses!!! I HAVE HIT PAN ON A FULL SIZED POWDER PRODUCT.
How sad is this that I was like...legit excited? WnW reserve your cabana specifically. Which is extra hilarious since it's ENORMOUS so I'll still be using it for the next 2 years or so before it's actually all gone. I sure do love that stuff though. Sometimes I'll get to the office and realize I've gone wildly overboard with it and have to hit my backup powder foundation to add a layer of MAYBE NOT SO MUCH GLOW around my nose/inner cheek area. I use a giant powder brush with it and maybe get a little wild occasionally.
