I feel really awkward making the first post! Did y'all hear that Max Factor is returning to the US? Their mascara used to be my HG, and I was so disappointed when they stopped selling them here. Now of course I don't remember which one I liked. lol. I hope they're still good!
ETA: I'm pretty sure it was the Volume Couture max factor I liked. I'm not even sure they make it any more.
They are only selling one that I know of. I loooooved the 3000 (2000?) calorie. I bought the new one at Target the other day - I hate the wand.
Bummer! I was worried when I read the article that they only had that one mascara currently. I also really liked 2000 calorie, but I'm thinking false effects was my fav. I hope they bring others here!
I spent a lot of time reorganizing my make up last month. I'm accepting a new job tomorrow and I'll have to relocate immediately. So the beautiful organized space will not be packed away. Hopefully somewhat nearly by me this weekend.

I used the love the Max Factor Pancake when I did theatre in high school. I wonder if they still sell it? I need something new for DD's dance competitions. The Mary Kay foundation they used to make us buy never shade matched her right.
I'm going to be turning the desk in our bedroom into my makeup/beauty "vanity" today. My bathroom cabinets are pretty cluttered with my makeup, hair tools and body sprays/perfumes. I have a small mirror but will have to go get or make a lighted mirror this weekend.
I need to go through and thin out my palette selection. I used a Tarte palette today and I hate my MU so it's going into the bag of MU goodies that I'm going to send to our BFF's daughter.
And I'm super proud of myself. I did not cave and get the new Tarte palette. After looking at it again, I've decided that I can live without.
I still haven't depotted my singles. But I WANT to. I just need to find the time. Most of my singles are UD and the YT video makes it look like a PITA.

Since when does Ulta carry Dior mascara?? Last time I was in store, they didn't. This is exciting. One more thing that I don't have to rely on Sephora or Nordstrom's for! Unless it's Nordstrom's buy 2, get one free special.

Not makeup, but beauty related... I got my first kybella treatment yesterday!!!! I'm all swollen (expected) now but I'm excited to see the results in a month or two. I go back for my second (and hopefully final) treatment in four weeks.
I watched a random YouTube video on makeup looks for photos. I'm trying to get our family photos done. I discovered a very basic look using minimal products. Plus, I started lining my lower lash line again. In addition to primer, foundation, and filling in the brows, I use an Elf cheek and bronzer duo as an eye shadow and liner. I also have a bronzey Tarte eyeliner that I use first, followed with smudging it with the bronzer. It's a warm but subtle look. I'm hooked and haven't touched my palettes or other blushes in weeks.

I bought a Kiss gel tip set. It's not that bad. I wanted to try it out for next min when I go on vacation. $10 compare to going to a salon and paying $40. I'll deal with the little mistakes and save $30. A little nail polish and you can barely see them.

I have been buying the Kiss acrylic nails ( the french) ones for about a year now! I love them.. so super easy and fast to put on and everyone thinks I get them done somewhere! I have horses so keeping my nails nice or on for that matter does not happen so I resort to these! They stay on for about 2 weeks and that is with tacking up and cleaning the barn!! I get mine at Walmart for $7! and when they come off the glue does not ruin my real nails like the salon ones do!
