I emailed xh to ask when/how he plans on getting me the money for the plain tickets. I'm not to contact his cousin and cousin's gf yet.

Xh has been removed as an authorized user from both of my credit cards.

Ugh, I got my credit card statement Friday night and he charged plane tickets for the three of them. They're going to Disney World.

When we split, we agreed we wouldn't change anything with the our credit cards. He hasn't used it until now.

I figure if xh doesn't get me the money in the next few days, I still have time to cancel. The flight isn't until 11/4.

WTF?! If he's still an authorized user, I'm not sure you can cancel, since, in theory, he has permission to use the card, even if you had a verbal agreement that he would not use the card.

booby, I see your second point, but the OP is confusing on this one. I read it as Bern removing him as authorized user after she discovered these charges. If he had not been an authorized user before, they would not have had to have a verbal agreement about using them.

Why would you need to talk to your lawyer before calling the credit card company to see if you can cancel the tix? Where are the credit card statements being sent to? You, right? I think this is totally to your discretion and should have no bearing on the divorce *

Ok, everyone simma down here. She's not ignoring the issue, she's got some plans in place to address it and taken steps to ensure this does not happen again. The tickets can be just as canceled on Wednesday as they would be now. 48 hours will not kill anything here. We don't need to hit her over the head just yet.

That sucks. I'd wait until you talked to the lawyer more about this. I don't see much of a difference between cancelling the tickets now as opposed to cancelling Wednesday after you talk to your lawyer.

Yeah, but if she wasn't aware of the tickets until they showed on her bill, that window may ahve passed before she even caught wind of the tickets. If the difference between cancelling now vs. Wednesday is really the difference here, I stand corrected.
