That's awesome. Congrats! I, too, am eagerly anticipating your quitting story.
Obviously it's a different situation, but I've lived apart from H for a long time, not all related to his deployments. It's hard, but entirely doable. That whole thing about absence and fondness turned out to be true.
My advice: Take the job, quit your shitty job epically, and I mean epically. See about taping it for all of us. Go to the interview on Thursday, and if you get an offer and want it more, it's okay to take it and back out of the other. It happens. My husband did it a few years ago and it turned out for the best for us.
Also, moves are scary. We move out of state, 6 hours away for MH's current job, and I certainly wasn't sure about moving away from family, friends and to the great state of Tennessee where we knew no one. But it has been amazing for his career and for us as a family. Good luck w/ everything!
