Favorite Deodorant/Anti-Perspirant

What's yours?

I'm just finishing up a roll-on from Fresh Sugar. It smells awesome--lemony and sweet like their skincare products. But I don't know that I'll repurchase because a) it's pricey and b) roll-ons never dry or I always start sweating before they dry.

Thinking about Lavanila.

I am anti aluminum.

Love primal pit paste. Keeps me dry and stink free (no gross sweat/deodorant smell at the end of a sweaty day). The baking soda can be irritating for some and there is an adjustment period.

I have used lavanila. Got it in a Sephora favorites kit a few years ago. It did not work for me.

I use Axe anti-perspirant. I'm apparently a 24 year old male. (I'm not.)

I've been wanting a more natural deodorant for a long time and every one I would try was a joke. I've been using Schmidt's for a month and I'm completely in love. It has baking soda which does irritate me, so I had to learn to apply lightly and since then, I've had no issues. I have the Rose scent. I don't see myself ever using another brand.

I've been switching between Lavanila and Degree dry-spray. I'm a sweaty girl.

I use the coconut vanilla scent.

I've been using Secret Outlast forever but want to switch to something non-aluminum. I tried Lavanilla and was a sweaty mess. Might have to look into the Primal Pit Paste.

Mitchum, because it's the strongest. I hate the aluminum... but it works.

Maybe I'll try pit paste too.

Those who use Schmidts, have you tried primal pit paste or just schmidts? I think they are similar from comparing ingredients, just was curious if schmidts was superior and I was missing out

I use old spice Fiji deodorant because of my aluminum allergy. It's easy to find and cheap.

I've used both and prefer schmidts. I think they're similar ingredients but schmidts just works better for me.

Plus, my girls like schmidts better because they don't have to dig in and apply with their hands.

And the scents are nice. The PPP I tried was a DISGUSTING scent and it made me smell like BO.

Oh yeah, that makes sense. I use the PPP sticks, not a fan of the jars. And yes there was a scent that PPP has that reminded me of BO too. Maybe the lavender? I don't remember. I tried the six pack. I love the coconut lime and orange vanilla though. I might try schmidts when I run out of my stockpile. I went a little crazy during a BOGO flash sale on PPP.

Both natural and what works for me is the baking soda! Natural deodorants without it don't work for me. Needs to have the BS

I've never tried PPP but for the stick, Schmidts is cheaper and also is the more traditional deodorant stick oval shape.

Thanks to all the recs in this post I ordered the sampler pack of Schmidts sticks and am starting to use it today.

I love the Primal stick in Jasmine. I was shocked at the end of the day that I didn't have BO, despite being a sweater. Very glad I got it!

I had gotten the Schmidts in Bergamot Lime and hated the smell. It smelled like BO to me. Like, the stuff itself smelled like BO.

I have green tidings right now, it's good but I'm wondering if it will be strong enough in the summer. I also tried something else that I found when I was searching for native on Amazon. It worked well but I couldn't get over how slimy it was. I may have to check out a sample pack.

ETA: I have a tea tree oil sensitive skin stick in my Amazon cart.

I used to use Mitchum for women cuz I needed the extra power, but I eventually developed a sensitivity to it. H had been using Jack Black pit boss, so I tried it, and it actually worked!

So now I use Jack Black Pit Boss and I love it!

Ive been intrigued by PPP for awhile but haven't bought it yet. I'll have to look into Schmidt too!

Schmidt day two, I have tea tree oil sensitive. I have to say I like it better than the green tiding one I was using.

Love this board! I've been using degree for years and I recently noticed that it stopped working, which is weird. Like, I feel like I haven't put any on when I have a clear memory of doing so. I hate the aluminum, so I'll try schmidts, I guess.

Okay, I've been using schmidts for about two weeks. So far I give it 👍🏽👍🏽!  I'll admit I haven't been too sweaty so I don't have an opinion on it's maximum strength.  But we're refinishing our basement and its furniture, so there's been a fair amount of exhertion.  I only felt kinda moist a few times, but not too much and it disappaited.  I have taken a few good whiffs and nothing!  My only complaint so far is that the stick is thick and hard to apply.  I was grossed out when I found some build up on my bra.  You're supposed to warm it on your skin first, and that helps.  I think I'll try the scoop out kind next time.  It sounded weird at first, but I put snail mucus on my face, so what do I know?

I've been using the PPP (the stick) for three weeks. Every so often I smell a bit at the end of the day, and the next morning I definitely need to hop in the shower. But it's by far the most effective natural deodorant I've used.

I suspect the baking soda is irritating my skin a bit. It's gotten darker and a little red. I am going to try the scoop out paste next to see if not rubbing super hard helps.

I just got the Native (coconut and vanilla scent) deodorant yesterday. So far, I love it, but I haven't really put it to the test yet. It hasn't really been hot today.
