I'm so glad Ray dumped Marnie. She is super self-absorbed.
Jessa does suck the most though. Her pathetic line to Adam about him and Hannah not having a meaningful relationship made me lol. She desperately wishes that were true.
The Hannah and Elijah scenes were sad, but so well acted.
Elijah is totally right. Unless she would change pretty much everything about her life and outlook, she would be a terrible mother. And I completely understood him giving this reaction after she basically implies that he would help her raise it? Lol no. Selfish Hannah is selfish. I love her character in a lot of ways but I hate this pregnancy story line.
I hope Ray and Shosh get back together and Adam and Jessa break up. Marnie should just go start over somewhere and try to get ambitious about another career or something. One of my favorite lines highlighting her self-involvement was the one about having bruises from the vigorous massages she needed to deal with Desi's addiction.

Does anyone else think a mark of Hannahs continued selfishness is the fact that she totally doesn't think she needs to inform the dad? Like SHE'S decided his involvement for him? 😐 Just like how she decided Elijahs involvement?

@natariru oh good. 1. Riz Ahmed is awesome so Im happy to see him back. He was funny in this role. 2. I really hope Hannah tells/involves him in a way HE wants to be involved.
I know people love the show, but I always feel like the character growth is pretty..small lol.

Elijah was mean, but incredibly honest, and probably right. Also, how presumptuous (I get this is who she is) of Hannah to assume he was going to want to raise the baby together. Her friendship with Elijah has always been brutally honest.

This is dumb, but it bugs me that Hannah keeps referring to the guy as a water-ski instructor when he was actually a surf instructor. I guess maybe he could be both? lol.

Same. I figured they must have made some changes to the first episode after recording these episodes.
Or Hannah just doesn't give a fuck about the dude who got her pregnant, which is also likely.
I do think she'd give a fuck if he didn't have a girlfriend. She'd be chasing after him so they could raise their baby by the sea. Eye rolls.

I think its wrong.
That's a great perspective. I don't think of it like that before but I totally agree.
I was sad that Hannah didn't stay with Adam, but it was probably the most realistic outcome. They've hurt each other so much in so many different ways. Them looking at each other in the diner broke my heart.
I loved Rays storyline this episode. Aw Ray
Jess's in the bar was hard to watch, but also true to her character.
I agree with everything TR said. It was great to see Shosh again but give the poor girl a storyline instead of the 3rd wheel with Ray and Abigail!
In a bittersweet way, I was glad Hannah didn't stay with Adam even though it was sad. I just don't see them working anymore. I don't see him with Jessa happily ever after though.

I was kinda bummed at first that Adam and Hannah didn't stay together, but now that I have thought about it, it's the right thing. If it had wrapped up so nice and neat like that it wouldn't have been realistic - yes, they have a lot of history and feelings, but they will never work. I watched until after the credits when they talk about the episode and Lena said that Jessa hooking up with that guy in the bar is almost frame by frame of her hooking up with the guy in the bar in season 1 when she thinks she's pregnant. I'm also glad that Ray found love with someone other then Shosh or Marnie, cause I thought they were hinting at a reunion with Shosh and that would have been too neat and tidy, too.
I'm gonna be bummed - this season has been fantastic.
This season has been good. I love that Hannah had grown so much to realize that Adam was a bad idea. And ray...awww... that carousel kiss was the cutest most awkward thing ever.

I really love this season. A part of me wanted Hannah and Adam to end up together but I agree that their relationship has nowhere else to go and I'm glad they both realized it, although that diner scene tore me up. When Ray and Abigail started to hit it off I was apprehensive but then by the carousel kiss I was smiling...love them together! I didn't miss Marnie one bit this episode. I'm not ready for the show to end!
I stopped watching a few seasons ago and just got random updates from my MIL, but I started back up this season and I'm surprised how hard the Hannah/Adam scene hit me last night.
Honestly it didn't hit me as Hannah not wanting Adam, but Hannah realizing she doesn't want or can't handle any of this. The reality and weight of it is setting in and it's going to be interesting to see what she does. I'm almost wondering if she moves back in with her mom for help.
Ray and Lil Baby Aidy (heh) are the best couple on the whole show and they've been together for one episode. I love them.
Oh, and Jessa should not be with Adam. Jessa should be working on herself- get out of the dirty apartment, go outside, put on clothes, and take care of yourself. She's been in a spiral all season and it's really hard to watch everyone ignore it.
I thought last night's episode was really good, in many ways.
But I really, really loved last week's episode with Elijah's audition. Can I just say how overjoyed I was that his audition piece was from Bombshell from the tv show Smash? Lollll but also that show was so damn good and I miss it, and Andrew Rannells is really quite talented.
